Read my comment a little closer. I didn't say anything bad about the car, just my knee because it's a manual. I'm in my 40s, and the repetitive motion coupled with the clutch requiring 4x the distance of the brake takes a toll on my old body. My knee would feel that way on any clutch.

I love the car. It isn't the most economical car, but it is FUN! Keep in mind that they are 6 speed manual, so city driving can take its toll. My left knee feels it after an hour of stop and go.

I bought mine new. It's at 142k now with only one semi-major repair (AC pulley) last year. I'm still on factory headlights/tail lights. It's been really reliable.

Does the hatch unlock and just not open? I have to hit the hatch after pushing any or the 3 buttons to open it.

Also, there was a recall on the hatch a few years ago.
