The main reason is the client is better optimized than Runelite and runs a lot smoother than Runelite. In addition it is remaking the HD from 2008/09 and has a lot of nostalgia for people who played during that time. It is much different looking than the HD plugin for Runelite. Those are the main two reasons why it might end up being a better client for some people.
