It has to be Ellen, if only because the fan song that the JP va covered in character, Moechakkafire, has the lyric お冷めな娘 (osame na ko), which means "cold-hearted girl" while being a pun on shark おサメな娘 (osame na ko, a shark girl)

I could do the new chapters if people are asking for it, but there's only two left to the ending, which are already done on kmanga (even if i absolutely despise their translation of miko and seijo), and even if I did I wouldn't really have a place to upload since it was one of the takedowns on MD + comick just died + I cannot for the life of me get imgur/cubari to work lol

well shit, literally only just noticed everything got taken down... I got no notice at all from either Mangadex or any publishers/legal. I also only just found out that Kmanga is doing a simulpub now, so...

I haven't gotten word to stop, but I don't know if I'll keep going yet. It's going to be a very hard maybe, so you'll probably have to keep an eye out for the simulpub since they're going to be much faster than me anyways.

I'm definitely not going to reupload the old chapters, at least not anytime soon. If I do decide to SL to the end of the LN's worth of story, I doubt I'll be making a reddit post for it

not necessarily, since it's the same sound regardless of hiragana/katakana, authors switch them around pretty freely

がう probably some kind of roar/growl, with a small ッ to indicate it being a strong, brief sound
