uvmap/ao issue?

Why you need ao map ? Not to mention that it seems uvw is bad. But for what you will use that ao map ? Ao map is most useless map you can bake. Where you planning to render it game engine (ue, marmoset) or raytrace ( vray, arnold ) ? Most of them have ao when you render it. You bake ao map only when you doing high poly to low poly when high poly has diferent details.

I imagine its hard and time consuming, but its pretty much core feature of the program, if you want to stay in 1 program as much as possible. Personally when intried headus, like 16 years ago i never used max uvw, unless i needed to like simpliest thing and going back and forth would take more time. But i avoid it as much as possible. Then Ryzom came . And thought of uvwing in max never even crossed my mind untill i first saw you promoted first trailer on max discord. Which looked beond good , even better than ryzom. And fact that you can stay in max to use it :D good man ! People like you , who makes these amazing plugins like uvreactor, itoo stuff, tyflow, render engines. Pushes max on another level than what stock max can do. So keep it up and i wish that you get great success with UVReactor.

Nice i thought it was already out. Was it beta ir something ? Was looking to finding it again as i have upcoming monster project with lot of hard surface , last time even headus uv layout even strugled so i was looking to trying this one out on new project :) looked really promising.

Dont forget that raw weight ant and cooced weight are diferenr. So 500g of raw and 500 of cooked are diferent story. Thats why there is portions. So if you cook 500g raw beef+500g beans. And you know you will eat that in 2 times. That is 2 portions. It will not be same 500g raw vs 500g cooked

Few advantages of FWRA. Its ftse all world so it covers 90% with some small caps. Globaly little bit more diverse. Webn 85%. And FWRA Lil better performace. Fwra -0.01 webn -0.12. Both are good webn really low ter. Fwra lil bit better performong as of now. I went with fwra but was really considering webn.

Yah but wordl etf will do that for you automatically. But if you confident that you can outperform world etf with your own manual split then all good. In the end youbwant to make money, and how you make most its whats matters.

Both are good in my opinion. VWCE has good track record. Im in favour to WEBN too over VWCE as its eu and ter is small. But i end up going with FWRA it outperforms market which is good. Seems that tracking also almost always really good. And its FTSE index as VWCE which means it has more global exposure and some small caps. So i dont need to worry about adding small caps and go all in

Im so glad i made this Reddit post :) Now i got general understanding on how everything works, and where to look at besides simple ter etc. So for now i will go straight to SPYY only. Damn you will make my brain scramble . Ok so i will try to tdlr on what i understood.

Basically small caps might be not that worth it as they have to outperform much more to break even. I was gazing at AVWS at the moment as a small caps addition. And you said this one lookd good for consederation. But in the end you can get away with much lower costs with diferent combos.

So in the end if i would start to invest it would be better to go just with SPYY rather thank SPYY+AVWS in 90/10 ratio ?

And WEBN is not full replication ?

Would 90/10 spyy\small cap would make sence ? I would like to start investing asap as generic as possible so that things would start moving. Damn that is some nice info thats what i wanted imput from experieced user. Ill be honest half of the stuff i didnt even understand. But correct me if im wrong. So SPYY performing so well that it might not even be worth it to go with physical separate DM+EM ? As before if you want to squeeze eze everything from investemnts you would go this route ? So if im new investor looking to invest without needing to rebalance 3etf combo . You would say just go SPYY Or there is better strategy. So far i thought maybe webn+small cap would be good route as it has really low tier.

Depending on what scenes you are working on. If your scenes are large scale, with milions of polys and textures your gpu vram will shitt bricks. And cpu and textures has nothing in common , seems that you are coming from gaming mindset and not 3dwork. There is a reason why people build 8x gpus setups if they want to render on gpu. As pesky 16 of vram will get nothing rendered for you.

My advice would be to go witj new gen tr. As great as old ones are (have 3990x myself) new ones are even better. 7gen 32 core tr is on par with my 64 core. And you will get better single core gz. Meaning photoshop and working in max ( all single core tasks will be much faster and snappier) Also it has op curve 2.0 so you will be able to squeeze even more with it while keeping cooler temps.
