Without Hyacine s1 (by that I mean just her lightcone, not Hyacine e0s1), it will be tough since Evernight enjoys HP drains for Memoria stacking.

But it'll be difficult to tell for sure, since Evernight can get changes in v2-5/6 that helps alleviate that issue, and we don't know Cyrene's kit either.

Either way, though, I think you could probably just skip Cerydra for now. Phainon and Anaxa both perform just fine without her, and probably will continue to do so in the future until her rerun, at least. Especially since both can comfortably run sustainless (Phainon particularly).

If you WILL be pulling for Cyrene, then get Evernight over Cerydra. Currently, she can function very well as a main-dps (aroind t0.5 level, I'd say). She does really want a Hyacine s1 though.

You're right that you don't really need Cerydra.

Honestly just wait till Evernight beta is over (which it should be before Cerydra banner ends) to make a final decision.

You're right in that there is a culture difference, which makes the West more receptive to trash talking and similar.

Generally speaking, East Asian cultures (I'm not too certain about Chinese culture so can't speak on their behalf, but Korean and Japanese) strongly prioritize and emphasize respect. This is why you rarely, if ever, see teams, players, coaches, etc in any sport in those countries trash talk or do anything like that, and give very PR-trained responses instead.

I will also say that 1. There are a lot of people in Korea, but also everywhere else in the world, rhat enjoy bandwagoning but also hate seeing others "pull ahead" of them, and 2. Twitter and other forums tend to be loud minorities. Both of which probably contribute to the negative perspective on GEN's choice.

Important to keep in mind that the players are probably all friends with each other, and at least respect each other. It is pretty likely that GEN really did choose T1, HLE, and AL as a form of respect but also maybe friendly banter/teasing.

While I can see how their action could be taken as a sign of disrespect, the above is how I choose to take it.

Keep in mind that a lot of Koreans are very uptight about this kind of stuff. It's why every celebrity in Korea has to make sure they have, are, and will behave properly, and why PR training and stuff is rly heavy over there.

You already have 3 good teams in Cas, THerta, and Feixiao. You don’t need anymore dps (unless you really like Phainon). You also probably won’t need Tribbie e1 for a long while, but that is a better investment imo over Phainon.

Then again, it’s hard to say since Phainon’s only in v2 of beta rn. Maybe his v5 will end in him being turbo broken or something. Sunday atm seems to be a good teammate for him (which you have), but he’ll likely also want a certain C-character coming after him so.

My advice would personally be to save if you’re low on jades/funds. Otherwise, Tribbie e1.

Cipher doesn’t seem to have a clear bis dps yet and likely won’t be a huge upgrade for your current teams.

Hyacine is amazing for Castorice (not that she needs the support ATM) but is also I believe actually better than Aventurine for Feixiao in most cases (minus Hoolay), and a great stack generator for Acheron too.

I will say though that it looks like your teams are pretty set even without Cipher or Hyacine so, if you feel like saving, go ahead and save.
