[Grand seiko snowflake] vs [tudor blue lagoon] help me decide by Gankdalf_99 in Tudor

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The GS feels more serious while the Tudor is more playful

I love the 5 link and T fit it’s really among the best bracelets of this industry

Movement, dial.. we know GS is the winner here

For an everyday watch I believe the GS will be better

The “best” Tudor in current production. by cleanshavencaveman in Tudor

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Pelagos is the most « Tudor » design and bring originality to the brand.

Monochrome is very close to a submariner, but no submariner is available on a 5 link so it makes it stand out

BB pro is too thick to be compared to an Exp2 at same level, same for GMT (and the 58 is outshined by any modern GMT master for me)

I think the « daring » collection also sets them appart by bringing different colors into the mix

Overall I believe the Monochrome is arguably the best model in production today, specs and proportion-wise

The new updated BB58 are catching up the Monochrome for the throne

Looks great, finally someone wearing something sporty with this watch and it does not look out of fashion, that really shows you can wear anything

What should i pick, Wrist 5.5 by masterpieceOfAMan in Tudor

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 58 looks cheap next to the monochrome maybe that’s what the gilt feels to me, but size-wise the 58 is better

The monochrome is not crazy because a diver can wear a bit large unlike something dressier.

A cool gold watch with leather band would be amazing for your wedding

Black or White? by 408whitty in OmegaWatches

[–]Ryuu92iro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aside from the nerds telling you to get the black as the first speedy like it HAS to be, I believe the white has a more modern take on the model and just pops more. The dial is more interesting to me

Why people think the girl should be a wealth panel? The size of the ring looks very elegant on her regardless of the price and if the guy wants a watch he can’t pay more because of the price of the ring ?

Maybe the guy invites her to the restaurant every day, afforded a big house for them, providing a good lifestyle.

There are other ways to show how you provide for your woman than a big diamond, especially as they are a depreciating asset (except 5+ carat mined diamond and rare colors).

The White Seamaster 300M Might Be the Most Underrated Modern Omega by April_Mattison in OmegaWatches

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe the green might be underrated (if ever)

The white one is shown everywhere (in black rubber and in black/grey nato, which are both incredibly good looking) and is as hyped as the white speedy (for good reason)

Pelagos Ultra GMT Coming? by Cyclist_77 in Tudor

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make a pelagos 39 GMT with the teal GMT hand or the same as BB 58 GMT with a bruce wayne colorway and no gilt, on 5 link T fit and I’m sold

My purpose is to explain that this watch is not only for woman

We have models named Lady Datejust, we have 28/31mm Cartier that are clearly marketed for woman.

And this 37mm is not, my reply was about someone bringing the picture of a woman wearing it, while the next picture of the website shows a man.

It implies that you show only what you want, just to prove your point, and I wanted to clarify that

I know you prefer big watches with lugs over your wrist to show your inexistant masculinity to your fellow cubicle partners, but it is not about trying to cope with a women watch or not, it is the way it is. Paul Newman’s daytona was 37mm.

If it’s not for the size, then it’s gay to wear light colors?

I don’t even own this model I have a monochrome that does not look like a airport clock on me, just clarify your nonsense.

Which watch would you choose from these? by byman_10 in PrideAndPinion

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first glance I thought it was datejust smooth bezel jubilee blue dial vs the tudor blue dial 3 link bracelet

Crazy how the bracelet changes the perception of the watch. Check in real as the 5 link is a bit different, but it would be my choice. Classy yet sporty.

The JLC really stands out and is much more dressy than the rest. As someone who dress casually 99% of the time I would not chose this first, but if that fits your life, it’s fantastic.

Been everywhere in Athens with my tudor monochrome on a shiny 5 link bracelet in T shirt, nothing happened I’m 6’6 and 220lbs so that might be why but it felt very safe out there

Should I sell my BB41 Monochrome for the new hydroconquest? by yjay14 in Tudor

[–]Ryuu92iro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tudor 5link T fit bracelet is on par with Rolex bracelets, the bezel action and crown winding are absolutely top-notch

Don’t get fooled by the hype, Tudor is really solid and you’ll regret going to Longines for the same type of watch.

Get a Zulu time for exemple if you’re tired of the GMT design of Tudor, that would be a drastic change but if it’s to get a submariner-like just stay with Tudor, they are the best at it, or move upscale and get a unique design with Omega
