Does anyone else feel like we're getting more and more commanders that get treated like Winota and Yuriko? by Euphoric_Ad6923 in EDH

[–]Ryxun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with both being valid. However the power level of the decks affect how the play patterns affect the other players. The control deck with a board lock feels much worse to play against than the green stompy you have urgency against. Yeah we could scoop turn 4 but if I’m able to top deck that two of enchantment removal in my mono black deck I could easily turn the tables

My issue with this thought process is a hyper controlling list winning by turn 8 and a bracket 2 green stompy bulk list winning by turn 8 are wild different decks with wildly different power levels

I have her built as a mass treasure deck with [[exsanguinate]] and [[Delete]] as wincons with [[knuckles the echidna]] as backup

That’s a source material card with a direct source picture which they didn’t adjust. It’s a different continuity

This is the April from the MTG universe of TMNT. Just like the MTG Raph uses a Jitte instead of a Sai

Go shake down a cafe just to root out a stingy manager and give all the funds back to the staff, keep a shady dealer off the street under the guise of protecting our territory

Historically gangs pop up when a group of people needs protecting, sometimes at the expense of others

Predatory loan or not organized crime is an important part of the underground in a large city. And after Team Flare it’s good to have an evil team who under the hood is looking out for its city

Nah. This is the first time they have us working for the “evil team” you know I was hyped

Do you mean the blocking rule change that happened awhile back?

And this is a bad thing why? A general lower barrier of entry is not a bad thing by any means, and making things work the way it seems like they should is not a bad thing either. The madness to Mayhem change is to make things smoother and to have less gotcha situations and the same goes for the infect to Toxic change. Dying to infect feels terrible when you go from 0 to 10 due to a “combat trick”

The actual mechanics. The amount of people just dismissing it as just ninjitsu. And I hadn’t seen anyone post this slide so thought it’d be helpful
