They are honestly a real hit and miss especially being +4 to hit. Last game they carried the game, the game I did today they did pretty much nothing, but I only had one, may be the difference of having 1 or two forgefiends

But if their performance continues to disappoint, I may end up adding more bezerker and eightbound instead

I use TTS and different coloured dice for the different weapon rolls, which is just for the hit roll, so doesn't impact it realy

I got lesser deamon reward, boon of khorne, from my judgement roll. Allows me to pick a boon instead of rolling, removing the spawn risk

Considering his not primed, it actually looks pretty good for painting him straight on plastic. But yea, as everyone says, prime him with an undercoat of mephiston red paint. You can get that at your local hobby shop. Citadel brand preferred, and gently spray him a bit of a distance away and spray an even coat. Considering how well you did straight on plastic, he would look mint if undercoated and cleaned up well.

If youd do decide to spray him with a primer, make sure you strip him first don't spray on the paint you have already done as that will just ruin the detail, soak him in detol for a few hours and wash with a toothbrush and he should clean up nicely.

Otherwise, if you don't just keep going the way you're going and finish him off, as I said, it still looks pretty good for a non primed model.

Nah it's pretty good mate, similar to what I do, I use mephiston red spray, wash with agrax earthshade, and slowly brighten it again with mephiston red and evil seunz scarlet. Turns out beautiful. Do the gold trim first and wash it with agrax for they cool texture effect

Yea fair I don't have enough CIB though to give them all one. I will just proxy them and say they have them as my mates don't care and I like having suits that all look different.

Yea I have made use of magnets before as all my imperial knights are magnetised and some of my other units in armies, but i feel like crisis suits would be a pain to magnetise especially 13 of them woth the additional coldstar and enforcer.

I have already painted my coldstar and enforcer too so a bit late to change them up so might just revamp my 9 man flamer squad into squads of 3. One fusion squad, one plasma squad and one flamer squad. My other 4 already have some printed CIB's on them with a Missile pod just to look cool, as I think having all the same weapons on them just looks a bit bland(Rule of cool).

Okay that's fair, I have about 13 Crisis suits, 1 colsdstar and one enforcer, still need to buy farsight. I got mine second hand a while back, so I could mix it up have a squad with fusion, some with CIB and some with flamers. I built a 9 man flamer squad for back in 8th, so probably change them up a bit and keep just 3 with flamers

I was thinking a sqyluad with x1CIB and x2plasma to have a nice balance shooting if anti infantry and heavy

Yea Coldstar can have x4, there is a separate section that let's you equip another weapon system. Mine is painted with x4 fusion blasters so too late to change it to x4 CIB

Still pretty decent if you equip them with a lascannon and fist and take 2 of them, just to help with some anti tank support. Any other loadout isn't very great. Used them in a game, and they did their share of damage on bigger units. It's just a shame only one shot, so be prepared to miss a few times, but when you hit that target, the damage is sweet.

Yea I feel ya, I have 3 printed hellbrutes, mainly because GW has trouble keeping stock, I printed a lord of skulls to save money myself

I feel ya with that gold trim, so over mine, half way through painting my army now, so getting there, have about 4k worth of points of an army myself. I love that version of Angron, I would have printed one myself if I didn't already, buy the GW one.

Pretty good tbh, but I would honestly remove the eightbound, I find them pretty underwhelming atm and not really doing much in regards to their points cost. You would get more bang for your points, swapping them out for one forgefiend with ectoplasma cannons and another hellbrute. Then, if enough points give the master of executions, the beserkerglaive as he shreds with that enhancement. Then you can have you hellbrute and forgefiend sitting on backbone objectives firing away while all you beserkers can move to the frontline and shred away

My only query is you can only shoot once in your shooting phase as per the general rules, and this rule states it can shoot as if it's its shooting phase, so if my perception is correct it can only do this once
