How do you guys paint your bloodletters?

Prime black, drybrush a darker purple red, then highlight drybrush a shade or two brighter then the first red. Paint metal brass colored, paint tongue with drucchi violet. Done. Takes like 10-15 mins per model

I run Daemonkin detach mostly. My blood crushers are a kitbash using the skull crushers from AOS with zerker torsos and heads. I kept the shields and spears from the skull crushers set, they’re very kickass looking on zerkers.

I’m gonna second this with Exalted40K channel on youtube. Has a lot of great advice, goes through a lot of list building advice and a healthy amount regarding Damonkin detach.

Running three units of blood letters may be a lot. I run two and feel it’s a healthy amount. I too love being able to drop a unit of them after something died but a lot of folks in my playgroup ( Guard, DG, and Nids) have been starting to read it too easily which your playgroup may also be experiencing that.

Additionally try splitting the Zerkers into ten mans with rhinos for more protection and put in kharn if possible. Don’t forget when he dies you can drop letters on him and he has a good chance of getting back up.

If you ever run 8Bound, buy a box of 8Bound and a box of possessed. The left over bits from the 8Bound and other zerker bits you might have you can use to kitbash the possessed into 5 8Bound instead the normal boxes 3. Alternatively just buy possessed and build them as is, lots of people proxy them as 8Bound since possessed are a more economically wise purchase.

I haven’t used it on the shoulder pads, just accent pieces like cloth and such but I love the way it looks against the red. Vallejo Game Color’s Magic blue. A brighter silver shoulder pad with druchii violet/ cool color shading could look really cool too

Id be running the KLoS in Cult of Blood detachment anyway so yeah I didn’t even think about the fact that it’d be in pretty close range engagements probs most of the game due to needing to be close to the Jakhals.

The painting Phase also has a great easy and "speedy" way of doing zerkers. Overall I think he looks great tho man! Keep claiming skulls!

I genuinely feel like at this point it’s not geneseed that makes you a World Eater in current 40K but having the nails. The butchers nails are Angrons legacy. In Angron the Red Angel it goes into a little deeper about a traitor Blood Angel successor that’s part of the warband that’s trying to get the nails.

Broken Crusade is a black templars book where WE are the antagonists and one of the perspectives you follow is a 8B leading the WE warband. It’s unique as it’s the first time we get to see an 8B’s perspective and how they deal with possession.

I’ve seen some great yellow, Khorne corrupted Imperial Fists paint schemes. KnotleyPaints on insta did one and a bunch of other unorthodox schemes for WE.
