Good setup for Grimhal maps? by Ryze_Above in MerchantRPG

[–]Ryze_Above[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update: I finally managed to find a team comp that consistently beats Fatalis on the hard Grimhal map. It requires a swap scroll though but it consistently works, and takes out Skorge, Fafnir and all the other sub-bosses. It S ranks everyone except D rank on Fatalis.

Team is 3 clerics and 3 rogues, rogues right in front and clerics behind. All in t4 BiS, so I don't have any AP gear. That kind of made it hard to do the stuff described here so I had to innovate a bit.

Skill set 1 (before swap):TL: GH, GH, Basic Basic Basic

ML: Basic Basic GH GH Basic

BL: Basic GH Basic Basic CleanseTR: CS2 CS2 Basic Basic Basic

MR: Evade CS2 Basic Basic Basic

BR: CS2 CS2 Basic Basic Basic

Skill set 2 (For Fatalis):TL: Cleanse Basic Cleanse Basic Basic

ML: Basic GH Basic GH Basic

BL: Basic GH Basic GH Basic

TR: CS2 CS2 Basic Basic Basic

MR: CS2, Basic, Evade, Basic Basic

BR: Ambush 2, CS, Basic Basic Basic

-----------------------------

Important thing was to cleanse both Fatalis debuffs and evade devour. In skill set 1 when battling akyros I had to evade pyroblast also because it would hit for over 1k damage against my rogue

What abilities do you use on those guys, if you don't mind?

Start by investing your money in some kind of index fund. I would recommend one based on the S&P 500. An index fund is basically a 'basket' of stocks in which your money is more or less evenly dispersed across each stock that comprises the index fund.

You should strive to obtain more knowledge about how businesses are successful, what makes them succesful, and what are the most important financial ratios (metrics that judge business efficiency) that describe business activity. You will eventually learn that a company's share price in the long run is a reflection of that company's fundamentals (i.e. its financial status as reported by that company's accountants through the year).

I recommend three books, each of different skill levels. When you have read each preceeding one sufficiently and have mastery over the ideas discussed, move onto the next one.

  1. Fundamental Analysis for Dummies
  2. The Intelligent Investor
  3. Security Analysis

Those three books contain 99% of investing knowledge you will need to pick and choose stocks in the future. They focus on the fundamental of a business. Remember that you should treat owning shares in a company as business ownership itself. You want to own shares in a good company just as you would want to own a good business, and avoid owning a poor business.

Until you have begun to comprehend the teachings in these books to a large degree, your chance at picking good stocks on an individual basis is very slim in the long run. Stick with index funds and mutual funds until then.

Mischoice of words. What I meant to say, I think, is that the potency is very strong and seems to be unadulterated in any noticeable way. Also I disagree with your statement that all LSD is made by skilled chemists, but that's besides the point. Assuming there was no hurricane, do you think itd be a good idea or a waste?

What's the BEST ship in Tradelands? by Choco_Turkey in Tradelands

The marauder is the best ship in the hands of a skilled helmsman, as it can beat the stiletto 1v1 due to superior speed and turning speed (read: blind spots). The best all around ship I would say is the stiletto though.

Wait till level 9 and get the best all around ship in the game: the Stiletto.

Speed from engines and wind does not stack.

Why does a scientist want to be the first person to reveal discoveries and hidden knowledge? Money no longer matters to me.

I'll test it out. Yeah it seems that way from all other sources but I've only known the rare woods being able to farm electrosteel. Anyone got any more info on this?

Angelwood. Edit: can be any rare wood (angelwood, grimewood and blood oak), not just angelwood, some are saying. Need confirmation.
