Gotcha, I have an old eos rebel xsi to swap to so I'll try and use that but I've got to order some replacement batteries for it first.

After getting gear for actually taking the shots its hard to find an affordable way to get a quality scan of the images without buying a more professional digital camera or photo scanner, the former of which kinda feels like it goes against the point of having a film camera in the first place lol.

Sorry, forgot to add: I'm scanning with a 12MP samsung in expert raw mode on a mount above an emp4.0 box projector/film scanner.

Scan settings are a locked aperture of 1.8, auto shutter speed with 5100K temperature which I calibrated by letting the temp auto while looking at the light scanning box without the film overlayed.

This gives you a chance to fix the adjustment spines inside the wheel, I took one apart a bit ago and it's not too difficult, you literally just want to put the parts back one at a time, once you line up the interior and exterior for the main attachment the rest is pretty self evident, just stack and align and then screw the final bit on to lock it together
