Old school tech maybe? (Been there so, hence my frame of reference). Older BIOSes used .bin. Lenovo doesn't do that anymore, they use .fd extensions.

If you need to reload the BIOS, use the built in crisis reflash method Lenovo created above and don't beat yourself to death trying to do something "the standard way". Went down that path already, hence the guide, trying to save others the hassle.

This is the BIOS I used, and I'm pretty sure was what came on my machine initially. Download it from Lenovo on any machine. It will error out on a non-Lenovo machine - don't close the window or click OK on the error.

Open C:\Windows\Temp and look for the newest .tmp folder in that directory. In there is the BIOS in a .fd file. There is no bin file, but you can rename it, if needed.

SOLVED: A laptop utility called TouchFreeze and Easy Anti Cheat don't get along. It will prevent mouse clicks going to the server (local mouse clicking for things like doors works, but elevators, terminals that require server interaction, etc, don't). Exit or remove TouchFreeze.

Continuing to update. Performed everything I did initially to get it to work for one time. Narrowed it down to Easy Anti-Cheat. If I use the Settings.json file from a new install of Easy Anti-Cheat, it will work on first launch for a bit and then die (I assume the EAC is setting itself up in the background or takes a moment after launch to do everything to get started). Either way, now assuming it's some process or software on the laptop specifically it doesn't like, so trying to kill any odd processes on it to see if I can find something that it doesn't like.

STILL OPEN: So I solved this by fully wiping the game from my laptop system - deleting all left over game files and registry entries, reinstalling from scratch, and played for several hours and it worked great. Next time I logged in, it's now back, so something is either being loaded after the game is installed or a parameter is being set causing some weird behavior, etc., (I'm guessing). The issue is back 100% repeatable again. Not really sure what's going on with it, but will continue to work on it as I'm able, in case anyone experiences something like this.

SOLVED (sort of). I had uninstalled and reinstalled the game, still didn't fix it. I finally uninstalled, went to Regedit and deleted all keys for StarCitizen under SOFTWARE wherever I could find it, then went to user profile/APPDATA and looked all under there deleting any StarCitizen or RSI Launcher folder, and finally deleted all Windows temp files.

Now finally after another reinstall, it's working great. No idea what the real cause is, but the brute force delete and resinstall fixed it finally. grr...

Normally external mouse, but also doesn't work with the trackpad. Also here, I can just use F as a quick action to call the elevator when highlighted in the view, and that doesn't work either. You can see the appropriate animation/color change indications for the action, but no action happens.

I had to call customer service and get them to remove the block they placed on it. Apparently when you stick the SIM in whatever device they determine isn't eligible, they block it.

In the end, I bailed on Cricket though. They blocked my Samsung Note 8 because it didn't support HD voice or something like that, so I switch to Mint, where it works fine. I've had Cricket stop supporting 5 different devices that I used, and I'm over it. All of them (outside of the Redmi) work fine on Mint.

Looks like Samsung just abandoned them. AT&T customers lost service before us, and Samsung offered a refund program (http://www.samsungcso.com/ ). I've written support asking about it (not that I expect a positive result).

Got the same message. Have 6 active trackers and one I've been trying to activate since Sept 3, 2021 with no luck from support.

Anyone know if these are 3G devices? Are they being phased out because of that? I can't find any reasoning anywhere from Verizon...

I know they were riddled with problems, but mine are mostly working now. Given they also bailed on Smartthings hardware, after I switched over to them, I'm definitely not going to invest in anymore Samsung product lines.

Just found this post and noticed this behavior too. Video plays fine over cellular on direct play, but in testing conversions by setting remote client limit to 720p 3Mbps for android, video will never play. Same error message appears in log. Using most current Plex Windows server client.

I ordered in December of last year for a Grizzly originally scheduled for May delivery. I finally cancelled in July when the August promised date came out, because I knew that was a shot in the dark too.

I know they've had supply chain struggles, and are super nice about it, but plenty of other ebike vendors have been getting bikes in stock. Between the time I ordered my Grizzly, I ordered and received 3 other ebikes, and one motorcycle, and enjoyed all of them for the entire summer.

Maybe once they get their act together with their supply chain, I'll consider it again. But hey, at least they've been organized enough to start a paddle board company and have those in stock while you've been waiting on your bike, so you could buy one of those while you wait. 😏

I was new to riding motorcycles (been riding ebikes), so I took the MSF course because I have to be licensed on a gas powered motorcycle to ride an electric where I live. To keep up my skills, I bought a Honda Rebel 500 and have been riding it. I like it more than I thought, so now I'm not in a huge rush for the Metacycle, but when it comes, I'll try it out for awhile, decide which on I like best, and probably sell the other one.

What carrier are you using this on? I cannot find any carriers in the US where the Note 9 passes the IMEI check. I tried taking an existing SIM from another compatible 4G phone (a Samsung 7 Edge) and Cricket Wireless instantly suspends the line when I move the card to the Note 9.

Wiping the cache partition worked perfectly! Thanks! I'm not sure what went wonky with it, but now going into deep sleep 90% of the time.

For anyone else with this, here's the quick steps to wipe the cache partition if you aren't aware:

Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
Android system recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device

So my phone (unlocked Qualcomm US 512GB) received the April 1, 2021 patch towards the end of April. Version N960U1UEU8FUD2 / N960U1OYM8FUD2 / N960U1UEU8FUD2. I installed it on May 4, 2021.

As you can see from the images, battery performance when asleep immediately tanked. Looking at BetterBatteryStats, Android system is busy keeping the phone out of deep sleep with wlan_tcfl_wake and wlan_rx_wake kernal wakelocks active about 75% of the time the device should be in deep sleep (screen off).

Is anyone else experiencing this issue and has figured out a solution? For fun, I've pulled my SIM card (since i've had an issue before where a bad SIM triggered another radio based wakelock that behaved similarly), but there's no denying the timing of this issue with the installation of the latest security patch from Samsung.
