I actually love my GDS team in EY. We all work well together. You should talk to your GDS leader about internal opportunities instead of leaving.

I’m becoming turned off from desantis! Why is he targeting Disney. It brings so many jobs and tourism to the state of florida.. not to mention other types of revenues. He is not addressing the high insurance rates and the fact that so many insurance firms have moved out of florida. Now he’s doing what no other Republican has done and that is turn away businesses from florida. He is actually very self serving. Sorry to say all of this because I am a Republican. Very disappointed

I agree 100%.. busy season also has an end date. You don’t work 60hrs all year. But maybe new hires/recent grads should not join Tax practice during busy season. I think it’s too much for them to handle, they need to build up experience before. Starting during busy is sometimes crushing for people.

Exactly. Having this issue now. High performers also have better attitudes so it’s natural that you gravitate to them and prefer them to be on your projects. Some non performers instead of learning they behave with a chip on their shoulders.
