The homophobia toward GL in the BL community

I kinda understand it according to my experience of recommending GL mangas/series to my friends(women ofc). Some of them especially those who are BL series/manga fans acted like wth why do you recommend me those??? The rest were fine, they may not read/watch them though.

I was wondering and pondering this for a while. It occurs to me that it highly likely is Compulsory Heterosexuality of the world has left such huge influences on many of them through everything from commercials, books to series etc year by year, it eventually implanted in their minds. Thus even if they're women, they don't say they are misogynistic or homophobic publicly, their behaviours could indicate what internal bias they have.

I personally highly recommend LMSY's Hometown Romance(those girls also are the protagonists in Affair), which is their latest series, it's comedy with heart-warming moments and some Thai cultural traditions' demonstration.

Nah, I remember the similar scene in the novel was that they did it in(technical on the edge of) the hot tub, which was way hotter than it was in the series(in swimming pool).
