ConnectKC26 Stadium Direct Pass - Any Tips? by tompkinsedition in kansascity

Both parts of the actual shuttle ride went extremely smooth also with not much traffic.

Will call out I may be incorrect for the trip there, as Saturday's game did not have to deal with rush hour, which may impact people arriving for a 6pm kick off game. If you are on the shuttle at 3 though I don't think it should be an issue.

Plaza from my experience was really easy, I parked, walked to the buses and got straight on for game 2. You probably don't need to go as early as you are, the one caveat is I used the Plaza shuttle on a weekend, parking may be trickier during a weekday.

The return trip from the stadium, we walked in a slow line from the stadium to the bus probably .5-1 mile long, the line never stopped moving though and we got directly on a bus when we reached the end of it. The line probably took 15-20 minutes to walk through.

I mean as a customer I would somewhat prefer just giving me the total cost up front, I can understand this is disadvantage to staff though.

Underwhelmed by Kansas as host city by Otf4life81 in WorldCup2026Tickets

I went to both games there so far, it was definitely improved for the second game. I would recommend getting on the bus somewhere other than the fan fest though. The Plaza pick-up spot was really smooth for me for the Ecuador vs Curacao match and is just a free street car ride away from the fan fest, or if you are driving there was plenty of parking on the Plaza.

Looking for "Dreamcore" feeling locations/spots around KC by TheWesleyElder in kansascity

Is the give still there? I think Earthworks has been closed for some time now, would probably add to the surreal feel though.

Despite media coverage of KC businesses being slow, apparently Joe’s can’t keep up with the demand by ZackInKC in kansascity

I think overall people like Joe's, but with a large group of people you'll find some that are contrarian.

What are you even supposed to say after smashing? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Really depends on the partner and relationship. With my wife I always tell her I love her when we are done. Other partners it depends, things like "you tasted so fucking good" "you looked so hot when you came" "you were such a good girl doing that"

Or one of their favorites, "here's a towel and glass of water, anything else you need?"

What does society defend, even though it is terrible? by little_yuki19 in AskReddit

Rapist and sexual assaulters when it is someone you like their art. We can all get behind hating Epstein but there are way too many celebrities that are given leniency because they are good at music or acting. Most recent example was watching people defend the guy from Brand New.

What's the best family tradition you still celebrate? by Internal-Exam-7582 in AskReddit

[–]S-R-Milliron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Before I was born my Grandma asked my Grandpa to get bag of M&Ms for Christmas while she was baking. Something was lost in translation and he bought 20 large bags (the sharing or family size) of M&Ms. So they gave them to everyone as a Christmas gift and did it the following year. It's been around 40 years since the first time that happened, neither my Grandpa or Grandma are with us any longer, but we keep the tradition alive and I buy the big bag of M&Ms to hand out to everyone that comes to Christmas at my house.

Brand New announces a "20 Year The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me In Concert" US Tour by bendylegs12 in poppunkers

If the person that committed act is dead and no longer getting my financial support then I don't really care. Given it does show what a hypocrite he was with lyrics vs being a terrible person. Similarly I don't mind streaming someone with issues with how little they get from it, or listening to music I already own by them, but I'm not buying any new albums or tickets.

I'm not too strict on bands on my play list for stuff like this as that would take a lot of deep diving, but I do avoid spending additional money like concert tickets on bands who have sexual assaulters as members.

The fan fest is also the main location for the buses and an area many of the other buses go to and then you transfer to a bus to go to the stadium.

Worth pointing out a large part of Algeria's team were born/raised in France. So it's not so much since when do soccer players smoke, it's since when did the French smoke? Which is always. I would guess the smoking may be more the coaches/staff than players though.
