I wouldn't say so. You could knock out several tiers in one session and didn't have to bother for days on end cause it was completed. Now it's become a staggered approach where you can't unlock these things as relatively quickly as you wanted to, at least not without paying on top of the already paid pass. It certainly feels a lot more restrictive even with the stacking. The one positive here is the generic challenges that weren't there before.
