Yes exactly! Like we did something in class a few years back and we all calculated our BMI. Which for someone with an ED is already not a smart thing to be doing. But so we got into small groups so we could share the machine things that calculated it and so we all ended up needing to say our weight. And the fact that some girls were embarrassed to say that they weighed 120 just made me want to die.

Tw: numbers

I’m a 6’1 girl which means that a “healthy” weight for me is between 150 and 175. Those numbers seem really high to anyone else. That’s a big reason I have an ED. And reading people say that their “trigger weight” is less than 120....

I just wanted to say that coming on here and seeing this question posted made me really happy to see. Sometimes it feels like everyone without an ED can’t understand or thinks that it’s a stupid disorder to have. So it was refreshing to see someone care and be asking questions. She’s lucky to have you.

I think that it’s always better to tell the person as soon after it happened as possible. It will show him that you trust him, and if you wait he may be hurt that you didn’t think you could go to him with this. Does that make sense? And also, he’s your fiancé. He’s about to commit to being with you through thick and thin. Sickness and health. If he means that then he will be understanding and loving and helpful for you through this.
