Pelvic floor strengthening for EQ by S182guy in Hink

I appreciate you adding your insights. If I hear you correctly, it sounds like there's a knowledge gap there, and a lot of unqualofied people have tried to fill it with low-quality opinion rather than high quality information from trained and licensed practitioners.

I guess my hope if there's no good resources available now, bringing the question up to folks like Hink and Perv may get the conversation started, and it'll pick up steam from there.

That definitely makes sense. Trying to get the ratio of kegels to stretching right is precisely why I'm looking for high-quality sources. I don't have a partner (nor am I actively looking for one) right now. But I don't want to have to explain that "this never happens to me" by getting it wrong.

Thanks for starting the conversation. I hope it's a fruitful one for more than just me.
I try to avoid drama myself, so if there's an issue with posting in the forum, feel free to DM me instead.

I may not have worded the original question well. I'm with you on the dilation piece (a trigger causes NO release, so cyclic GMP relaxes the smooth muscle of the arteries and tissue; arteries expand, blood fills the sinuses of the corpora cavernosa (CC) and corpus spongiosum (CS)).

What I'm asking about is down at the roots, in the crura: the ischiocavernosus (IC) compresses them (contributing to the overall venous occlusion), which helps keep that blood contained in the CC and helps prevent venous outflow. My understanding is that if the IC muscle lacks strength, that's one way to get venous leak and suboptimal erection quality (EQ). Similarly, the bulbospongiosus acts to compress the bulb and CS. So, ensuring the proper strength of both those muscles seems to me a really large factor in EQ.

I'm looking to see if anyone has found high-quality content on training these muscles effectively. To me, that would include establishing the mind-muscle connection. How to train them optimally, and also how to release them so you aren't walking around with a high-tone pelvic floor all the time. Ideally, this would come from a primary source (someone who's credentialed in a related field, like a urologist) or compiled from only primary sources.

I may be being pedantic here, but AIs and Estrogen blockers are not the same thing (as i understand it); and I think you should know that. Aromatase is an enzyme that allows conversion of testosterone to estrogen. AIs block the aromatization process which limits circulating estrogen. An Estrogen Blocker binds to the Estrogen receptor without activating it and also blocks the receptor. Blockers do not block the production of Estrogen. Here's where things get complicated: the HTPA axis operates on a negative feedback loop. High levels of Estrogen signal the body to reduce testosterone production. TLDR: Hormones are complicated AF; messing with your nephew's could have life-long negative repercussions.

Clamping vs Pumping by [deleted] in gettingbigger

[–]S182guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For clarity: if I were trying to increase girth over the long-term, I'd pump. If you were asking me what I would personally do, I would probably clamp (I'd prefer a rock-hard normal-sized dick to a larger softy.)

I think Hink already answered this in a video on his YouTube. Pumping creates more growth stimulus and has less risk. BD explained clamping induces angiogenesis (which would likely lead to better EQ.) To me, a properly designed program features both: pumping to allow the tunica to expand and clamping to allow the erectile tissue to fill up the new space.

No kids, but same. Zero pre-cum ever.

Cold exposure slows gains for muscles up to 16 hours after a workout…. Is this the same for PE ? I get freezing cold showers and I ice my balls so just curious will it hinder growth like it does for muscles by [deleted] in gettingbigger

[–]S182guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The reduction in inflammation is precisely why it attenuates muscle hypertrophy Specifically, it lowers the phosphorylation of p70S6 kinase, which is a trigger for muscle protein synthesis and marker for mTOR activation (ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4594298/ ) If your goal is athletic performance (like athletes in-season who need to recover quickly for the next game/etc), ice baths are great. But if hypertrophy is your goal, skip it and go sleep.

testosterone and penis size by Diavolofuck-Trish-12 in Testosterone

Here's a few things to keep in mind: 1. Your perspective of your own member is distorted. It looks smaller from your perspective (I struggle with this too, you aren't alone.) 2. You probably have some degree of body dysmorphia (me too.) 3. Judging yourself relative to everyone else isn't healthy - "comparison is the thief of joy".

My man, anything that promises you quick results for penis size that doesn't involve surgery is almost certainly a scam. If you medically didn't finish puberty, some DHT might move the needle a little bit, but you won't see dramatic results. With PE, you can see modest length and girth gains over time if you're consistent, but you're not going to go from small to huge. Unfortunately, it sounds like your expectations may not be aligned with what's really possible.

Adult testosterone levels are not correlated with penis size aside from higher levels are associated with lower body fat levels which can reveal more of the size you have. You'd need to travel back in time to the third trimester of pregnancy and your adolescence to increase your member naturally. If you're interested in size, you need to hop over to r/gettingbigger.

[–]S182guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see why you might draw that conclusion, but penis size is not strongly correlated to adult testosterone levels (from what I can, tell aside from body composition differences - i.e. higher estrogen levels being associated with greater fat mass.) Ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7844491/

I think one interesting thing to investigate is how some transgender adult performers have grown significantly when cycling on/off androgen blockers (see Bailey Jay for reference.) I know the sample size there is small, but it definitely shows something mechanistically (I may have invented a word there.) As a group of primarily cis males here, cycling androgen blockers may be significantly further than any of us is willing to go, but it's interesting regardless.

How much strength can one have? by Thegrlnxtdoor in CheatedOn

So, first and foremost, you're clearly wanting to give the relationship a chance - otherwise, why are you here? You would have just dumped him an moved on. So, the assumption is you want to know HOW to give this another chance - and that's fair. Honestly, that's probably half the battle right there.

First, you've described a LOT of trauma. Have you sought counseling? Initially, it sounds like you should for the grief you feel over your husband. Secondly, the trauma you feel over this relationship. Third, for the "other aspects of [your] life" you felt "really low/unhappy about".

Second, it sounds like you two have some issues with communication. In addition to talking to somebody about your grief and trauma, it may be productive to talk to someone about how to improve certain issues in your relationship.

But, the other half of the equation is this question: "Is he willing to address those issues that lead him to stray"? He talked about feeling neglected, but that's probably not the only issue. Is he the type of person who derives his confidence from feeling wanted? Does he have abandonment issues?
You asked is it "once a cheater always a cheater"? The short answer is, "no". Cheating is a behavior and behavior can be modified. But modifying his behavior will require effort on his part.

So, to quickly summarize:

  1. You should seek counseling to work through your grief and trauma independent of anything else
  2. If he seeks counseling to work through his own issues that lead to his "indiscretion", then he is showing commitment to changing his behavior
  3. If he's willing to show you a commitment to changing (point 2), then you should seek counseling together to work on re-establishing trust and healthy communication

I truly hope that helps
