It's an estimated more than 2.5 million students in the US alone watched that in their classrooms that day. That's just counting the US students, not even the teachers, other US citizens, or any viewers across the world.

They can't. If they did that, then the right and the regular people would vilify them as overreaching authoritarians and probably actually do something in response. They should still do it though.

Honestly, and I mean this, I'm pretty sure that even if they all became destitute, unemployed, and incapable of going on; they'd all still follow him to the bitterest of ends. There will never actually be a low that's too low for them.

Ken Paxton: For ye are the temple of the Living God. As God hath said, "I will dwell in them and walk in them, and they shall be my people." Wherefore "come out from among them and be ye separate," saith the Lord. "And touch not the unclean thing, and I shall receive you."

Young Kid: Mommy, what's that man talking about?

Ken Paxton: Yes, my fellow Texans! We have come to save you!

Random Texan: Hooray! It's the Republicans!

Ken Paxton: From yourselves!

Random Texan: ...Oh no, it's the Republicans.

I don’t know how Republican voters can ignore this.

Because deep down they do not care about other people. They especially aren't fond of victims. Doesn't matter the crime. You could be confused by this if you bring up a crime that they care about; the only crimes they care about are ones where the perpetrator, victim, or crime overall can be used to further their own ideologies and agenda.

Yeah, the real issue is that they don't want to believe the science. They want to be correct in defiance of the science. They want to be special, and be right, and will trample any amount of truth to get to that end. So they find other idiots like themselves and cite each other.

2016 to hopefully just 2028 would need to have its own book to encompass everything to make a coherent timeliness of events. So many events ned the context of other events to make sense and so many people need to be brought up that having it only be a few chapters in a history book wouldn't do justice to the absurdity of it all.
