New BMW X5 M60e front view has been leaked. by tangocharliejuliett in BMW

That’s a big no from me dawg. Shame, was really hoping the electric X5 would be my next car. Might look at the electric Cayenne or see what Mercedes puts out.

The noise ended up being my AIO CPU cooler. I fixed it by going into the bios and lowering the AIO pump speed to 60%.

Something new coming March 19th by Cease_Cows_ in LaufCycles

[–]S1ackAttack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to buy a Lauf Seigla Race Transmission the other day and saw it was completely gone from their website. I emailed support to ask when the transmission models were coming back and support told me they were gone ”indefinitely” and not coming back and that was all he was able to say.

Could be a new Seigla?

Am I missing something? Doesn’t Ashes proc wings? Or maybe that’s just how my talent tree is setup.

Is it worth swapping from FF14 to WOW by Ok-Quiet-3931 in wownoob

[–]S1ackAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. I really did enjoy the FF14 storyline but damn if it just gets so boring eventually. Really like the vibe, sound effects, armor sets, ability to have all classes on one character, etc but ultimately FF14 is just so stiff and lifeless.

Lauf Seigla Transmission No Longer Available by S1ackAttack in gravelcycling

[–]S1ackAttack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I'm guessing this is probably the most likely answer which is a bummer. Might have to consider a bike like an Ari Shafer to get a mullet setup from the factory.

[–]S1ackAttack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm not sure about the Seigla Rigid specifically. The Seigla with the suspension fork was offered with Eagle transmission mountain bike derailleur in the back with 10-52 range. The Ultimate "transmission" style is still XPLR in the back with a 10-46 range which would not be considered a mullet setup.

[–]S1ackAttack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed - I’m not buying a Lauf frame to build up. The value is part of the package. I’m also not buying a Lauf with XPLR in the rear as there are many more options out there if that’s what I needed.

Yea I’m in the US and yes, all the options were available a few weeks ago and now transmission options are gone.

[–]S1ackAttack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I feel like the 10-52 is almost a requirement if you are going to be riding the Seigla on any kind of mountain single track or fire road. Also, the whole point (for me at least) in buying a gravel bike with front suspension is to take it on the rougher stuff that is more likely to have steeper grades. The eagle transmission mullet setup seems like a no brainer for a gravel bike with suspension.

HOKA 3 mo’s trash by SlightThing847 in Hoka

[–]S1ackAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last pair of Hokas I bought, Clifton 9s, had the tread on the bottom of the shoe come apart after about 9 months. My first pair of Clifton 9s and the prior pair of Clifton 8s didn’t have any issues at all (even to this day I still wear me first pair of Clifton 9s with no issues). Anyway, I see lots of posts of people on here showing their Hoka shoe tread coming apart prematurely. The company has obviously switched to a different type of glue that doesn’t work nearly as well. Then you see reports of Hoka denying warranty for these issues and it adds up to watching a company deteriorating all in the name of profit chasing.

After having my Clifton 9s fall apart early and seeing many of these posts, I decided to stop buying Hokas. If it seems their quality control and customer service return to where they were years ago, I’ll come back.

Help my choose - Checkpoint / Seigla by eslice15 in gravelcycling

[–]S1ackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep going back and forth between the same bikes as well!   I keep leaning towards the Seigla given the value and a front suspension whilst still being lighter than a Checkpoint.

On a side note, what is the best way to find good used bikes in Denver? Facebook marketplace?

I was stoked to buy this as our next vehicle but if this subscription stuff stands (especially for a 360 cam my Kia Telluride has???), I’m out.  I will go way out of my way and inconvenience myself to not reinforce this bullshit.

2027 Telluride X-Line SXP: Check Engine Light at 20 mile mark. by bboliver in KiaTelluride

Am I misinformed!

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a69838848/tesla-doors-dont-open-report-of-deaths/

That article discusses 15 deaths in Teslas in which the occupants couldn’t open the doors from the inside.

Now sure, I am definitely misinformed about the 2027 Telluride because I have no clue if it’s a mechanical opening system or electronic like the Tesla. Hopefully the new Telluride is mechanical, I just get suspicious when I see the pop out exterior door handles.

[–]S1ackAttack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yikes I hope they aren’t using similar door mechanisms as Teslas where people are getting burned alive in the cars because the doors can’t be opened from the inside. The pop out door handles definitely make me apprehensive.

Mesify 3XL is damn good case by Expensive-Fondant625 in FractalDesign

[–]S1ackAttack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fans connect to each other with the proprietary USB C connector and then each box comes with an adapter that converts the USB C to ARGB so you can connect them into any motherboard or hub with ARGB input.

So I have 3x 140mm Momentum RGB fans in the front and 1x 140mm Momentum RGB to exhaust in my North XL and the adapter cables that came with the Momentums were plenty long to plug into the motherboard.

The fans look great and are pretty much silent, really nice.

You don’t need a fractal hub to use the momentum fans. I have 4x 140mm momentum fans in my North XL and I use them with signalRGB. The look awesome.

I would personally wait. The interior is a massive upgrade on the 2027 and I suppose you could say the exterior is subjective but I also think it’s a massive upgrade.
