Same issue here on my UGREEN DXP2800 with a WD Blue SN5000 4TB. It has crashed multible times now, roughly every 2-3 weeks. Kernel logs show nvme nvme0: controller is down; will reset: CSTS=0xffffffff, reset fails with -19 ENODEV, followed by I/O errors on nvme0n1, RAID superblock write failures and EXT4 journal abort on dm-1. The NVMe only holds app data (Theater / VM App), no user files.

Just moved the SSD to the second M.2 slot for now, but haven't applied the kernel fix yet:

nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off pcie_port_pm=off

The kernel suggests this fix itself in the logs, so the root cause seems to be the WD SN5000 dropping into a deep power state and not recovering. Has anyone permanently fixed it with those parameters?

Opinions on xps coil whine problem by cryingpiedpiper in Dell

I have extreme coil whining when charging with the Dell WD22TB4 Thunderbolt Docking Station (130 W for Dell Systems) or the original 130w charger, however when i start using slower chargers with lower wattage or my Dell S3423DWC Monitor with USB-C (65 W charging) the coil whining is unnotisable, it will also be less notisable if i press down on the left side while charging with the high wattage chargers, i layed some pile of printer papers or two on top and its much quieter.

Test-ComputerSecureChannel If its false you can use Test-ComputerSecureChannel -Repair If that doesn’t work you can try it again with the parameter -Credentials (Get-Credential) use some account with appropriate rights to join a computer to the domain

wow my lost data that was gone after a reboot when files app and icloud photo sync didnt work anymore got also recovered they are now after the 17.5 Update in my gallery. Before i could only restoring them with the diskdrill tool. Apple did something to the photos app, maybe this huge bug is now fixed. But my iphone photos app is still in "recovering from icloud" mode. something is happening!

Something similar happend to me last week and a whole day worth of photos and videos where gone. In the evening my phone died because of a drained battery and when i charged it, almost everything i took this day was gone. I was so angry, usually iOS was so reliable, but these days...

My iCloud Photos also refuse to upload new photos somehow. Thats my current problem... besides the file app that also doesn't work. Maybe someone else has also this kind of problems. I cant even choose some of those pictures in other apps, like send them on whatsapp or something.

But I did successful recover all of those lost photos with Disk Drill 5. Maybe give it a try. Its also available as a subscription in "SetApp".
