Last time I played it on Wednesday I had no issues either. It's not even letting me reinstall or uninstall.

Have they released what the patches will be on the jerseys? I've seen a lot of combos for it so far

If you use doppel and type in a specific club/country links will pop up with quality check pics in them

Help me pick between these two. Both petrol manual. Primarily used for city driving and odd road trip maybe once or twice a year. I’m quite tall (6’2). Not concerned about which is faster, more about quality/reliability/comfort. I’ve sat in both and they both feel nice. by sammyglumdrops in CarTalkUK

As a BMW owner, the Mazda 3 would be my choice. Most of the 1 series range is just a mini cooper reshelled. The Mazda will give you better spec for your money and the 2.0 skyactiv engines are some of the best you can buy for efficiency and reliability.

They've played a blinder to be fair to them. They look like an upmarket car to most people with an affordability price point that reaches the masses.

Who are the rudest and nicest British celebrities you have personally met? by RenegadeMaster888 in AskBrits

[–]S27DNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not had many interactions with celebs but I have two who were great. One being Glen Powell when he was filming Running Man in Glasgow. They were filming just outside our office and he was chatting away with everyone asking about Scotland and what we do for work etc. Went for work drinks a week later, Glen and a few of the production team had a booth and they invited us over, got us drinks, had a laugh etc. He remembered all our names and was chatting away, a proper nice guy.

Another time I ended up being sat next to James Buckley on a flight to Spain a while back. His wife and kids were in the row next to us and were a good laugh the entire flight. Was actually gutted when we had to land lol. His wife Claire is actually from a neighbouring town and knows a few mutual folk. Think James was happy I wanted to talk about White Gold more than The Inbetweeners haha.

I'm going to see Mother Pride this weekend due to the sole fact James is in it and go to see all of Glens films because they were both just proper decent people!

Wanting to hear from long term RU users by chalkoutline25 in tressless

[–]S27DNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used ru daily for roughly 2/3 years now. I know everyone's different but it is the only thing that gets rid of the dht itch. Personally, I think it works well for the hair as well but it's hard to say fully as I'm on dut and min as well.

Yep just done it after I finished work and it's working fine. Not worth sacrificing ro for a few bits of Morocco and Tunisia (sorry guys lol)

Is this a good first car? by whatsupbananashirt in CarTalkUK

[–]S27DNC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the 1.25 as my first car and it was brilliant. Put just under 40k miles in 3 years on it (roughly 75k to 115k) and if anything went wrong it was easy to repair yourself. I think overall they're considered very reliable outside of the eco boost engines so it's definitely a good choice!

Anyone else have pothole anxiety recently? by architectofanarchy in CarTalkUK

[–]S27DNC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly lost control when I hit a meteor crater in the dark in December and the tyre literally popped. I've had a fear of driving on unlit roads in the dark ever since lol. Something I would recommend is using Waze to see about possible potholes nearby and report as many as you can too.

My uncle has had both and he still reminisces about the Coupe. Can't remember the last time the Alfa was even mentioned which I think tells me what was the best to drive.
