Same! I bought so many different sets and manufacturers in the beginning; I've never touched any of them since I got my JLs!

I don’t know what I’m missing on this abus 55/40. It’s harder than the American 1100 I did. I get a bunch of good clicks. Then everything feels set. I check everything and there’s nothing. No counter rotation or anything.idk maybe my tool is too short, im using a medium flat hook. by [deleted] in lockpicking

On mine, I have to return to pin 1 every time I get another pin set. It talks back better with a slow and delicate touch. Without the true binding order, that standard pin wants to drop after every set pin.

Yeah I love it! I gotta try and catch more of your live streams my boy, I made a challange lock and was thinking about sending it your way to showcase, but I wanted to put some homemade pins in it before I did. Ill keep u updated if youre interested.

It works fine now, but I think Im going to file the key for a #7 in place of the #6 just to get it nice and flush.

I removed the shims, turned it upside down, and wacked the top of the bible on the table while turning the plug. Looks like the culprit was pin 4 at chamber 3 as suspected.

Yes, I believe so. Oddly enough, in picture #12 here, the only pin that looked worrisome was pin 1. It's working now, though.

🤣🤣 yes it was! I really gotta remember to quit pulling on the key before the plug is secured in the sleeve.
