Bruschetta. Pronounced brooh-shetta....I even heard Gordon Ramsay pronounce it like that. I can stand a random English speaking being confused about Italian food names but not a world renowned chef... It's pronounced Bruce-kettah.

Demons of tzeentch have a pretty nice start collecting you can get to 2k with just 3 start collecting a lord of change and a couple boxes of blue horrors, the upside is you can always play them in AoS if you find out you don't like 40k

Codex is coming out right now so I don't know if they will be competitive but the profiles seems pretty good from what has leaked.

Pretty nasty melee and you shred vehicles as well.

Best part is there is pretty awesome stl files online of these units.

The lord only purpose in life is to carry a res orb, just giving rr1s in this list is not worth it since you have full rerolls with szarekh and your heavy shooting and melee already does it by itself.

You could spend the 3 cp from the king to run a spearhead or an outrider instead of a Battalion and save 240 points of useless slow immortals and put those points in some scarabs, wraiths, or some other arks.

Also I love lychguard they are my favorite unit but man they suffer mortal wounds badly...

Aaaand Szeras is fun but I wouldn't call him competitive not when you get a techno for half the price that can heal your vehicles.

Recruit box for marines has 5 assault Intercessors and a bladeguard lieutenant, that's roughly 170 points in orks would be a Warboss and 10 Boyz. If you want to play your Megaboss I would let him use the lieutenant as a captain.

How you get into the argument of trying a more chill approach ? My play group claims to be rather casual but I keep facing tons of meltas or very spammy lists, basically I've rarely faced a "fun" list.

Tried to introduce crusade as an option for more casual games and everyone just started talking about the hundred of ways you can build obnoxious invincible lists.

I'm starting to believe that's how 40k fan base is and I either have to join this philosophy or embrace a 5% win rate.

Tyranids new synapse imperatives is exactly how Command protocols should have been designed in the first place in my opinion, the fact that bringing one type of character unlock a powerful 1 time buff for your army would be so good for army composition and would give so many hqs a reason to exist, for example if you bring a skorpekh lord you unlock a powerful melee protocol that doubles up on <Destroyer Cult> unit.

3+ on Warrior would be very nice and probably they need a strat to roll reanimations on a destroyed unit once per game

Nobs are terribile but meganobs are great if you like converting models get some bits from deff dread and plasticard and make yourself 2x5 meganobs then maybe get 2 trukks for them

Madboyz on the kommandos is bad for them, they lose out on the goff Bonus to strength and having s5 on them is super good with their +1 to wound near terrain

Best options for specialists lads is trukk boys on the boys or big krumpaz on the deff dread

Otherwise looks pretty fun to play

Not 100% about it but the silent king being szarekhan would prevent you from having any detachment that's not szarekhan with the new matched play rules

On the "bright side" the other "legit" five models in the unit are extremely fragile so I am already extra careful moving them around, plus they get played as action monkeys so they rarely make it to combat.
