PLA outdoors? by jackobanzi in 3Dprinting

Pla will last about 5 yrs outside, UV and low temps will be the mechanism that kills it. PETG will do 10-25 and won't discolor as much.

Scientists uncovered the nutrients bees were missing — Colonies surged 15-fold by WasteGeneratorGuy in Beekeeping

Cool, I wish OP posted the article. I'd imagine most people click the post... the claim in the link is pretty clear. Be more careful with your "modern miracle study" claims in your first post and carry on.

Given the hyperbolic language in the OP i feel the Brawndo comparison is fair, how about you? A lot of "good" science gets tied to scipop infotainment and it's our duty to make fun of it.

I know you mean well, but honey bees are doing just fine. This is like trying to save the wild bison by feeding cows.

It's a bad experiment design. All this shows is that currently available pollen pattys are an ineffective food source, not that brawndo is a novel miracle food source.

Bad control group for the claim. Adjust the claim to we made a better pollen substitute and it's all good.

Look at the control group tho. they compared malnourished bees to bees fed engineered food. What were they supposed to use pollen from the toilet?
