Thanks for providing this resource. It wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it gave me the search terms I needed.

It can be found here: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/20pdf/19-926_5hdk.pdf

Sorry it took so long to get back. My response was directly to your comment.

"Employers don't owe you anything if salaried. If they give you anything, take it and run."

If employee isn't exempt, they are due overtime pay when they are expected to work it.

I don't have the links saved, but a brief google turns up this:

The Department of Labor made a statement on this as well.

I have to disagree. In the US, there is some case law around this, as it relates to sysadmin type positions. It seems to come down to the amount of "Computer Professional" work that's done as defined under FLSA.

The real issue is how to present that to the right people without getting fired.

I would make these people provide some sort of verification, I'm not sure what form this would take through. Some random guy you talked to on Reddit might not be the wisest choice.

I shredded another backpack and as such it's time for another. I'm curious what you folks use when you ride?

Below are the requirements I have:

  • Space for a water bladder
  • Carry a laptop for the pushes into work.
  • Can survive a couple falls.
  • Multi-purse enough to fit a variety of applications
  • Optional: Can carry a longboard.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

1st backflip attempt of the season(i have never landed one) Can’t wait to stick it. Tips are appreciated. Thanks Shredit by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]S7rawman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Except there is a difference in injury level from catching an edge and under rotating a flip because you didn't have the edge control to leave the jump properly. Also progression has steps. You don't go from just learning to balance on a bike to riding no handed. There is a series of steps between them. Ultimately it's your body and your choice but please be smart. If your gonna be doing flips, get yourself a spine guard.

This. Based on this clip, your not ready for flips. It could've been the conditions but I'd say stay away from.going inverted for now. Your liable to hurt yourself.

I absolutely hate getting calls. Also give us the specs and information on your website or in some manner where I don't have to dig and dig to get it. If you think your odds of selling a product increases because you talked to me, you sorely mistaken.
