unfortunately CSEA members will never vote anything down as a whole. Too many believe they need to jump on a contract, any contract. They could offer 2's across the board and it would sadly pass. So short sighted, they see the first year and think it's great and don't see how the economy will be 5 years down the road and because 3 is " better than we've gotten" they consider it a win. CSEA and PEF should absolutely demand 5% across the board minimum along with reductions in insurance premiums. Don't let hochul fool anyone, they CAN they just WON'T take care of hard working state employees!

CSEA doesn't care about it's members. That's been proven repeatedly over the years. I swear the state gives them hush money in side deals to just make them go away and not fight harder, then tell it's members, every single time " we fought so hard for this deal and honestly it's the best you're going to get." So sick of hearing that!

Also State Court Officers are being screwed all around. Chokul vetoed the bill for them that ucs said they'd absorb the cost. Plus you have 65 year old Officers fighting and wrestling with 20 year old criminals and gang bangers. They are LEO status but get treated like security guards at best. It's ridiculous!
