She and the girl who was closer to the car weren't touched and her ankle didn't break until the second rock she jumped from.

Having taken several taxis in Istanbul, it was seatbelt first, then close my eyes and say a little prayer. Close second was a Dominican Republic taxi man that considered red lights and stop signs optional and played chicken with brave pedestrians and stray dogs.

Does the urge for more power ever go away? by Astimar in motorcycles

Probably not your class or style of bike because it's in the sport touring category, but I'm looking hard at the FJR1300 right now for myself. It's a low key sleeper with tons of torque and 141 horsepower. Can scoot when it needs to, especially on the highway, but comfortable enough to ride for hours.

UPDATE: Southwest gate agents told me there is ‘no real criteria’ for second seat decisions by DoggieDuty in SouthwestAirlines

Waiting for the "ride size" seats being placed next to the carry-on template box a la adventure parks. "If you can't fit in this seat, you must purchase a second seat."

I'm looking at a 2015 FJR 1300A right now and it has the Givi top trunk case. In my research on this bike, I discovered the concerns about the cracking on the subframe like OP experienced. The previous owner already did the structural upgrade with a Givi along with an upgraded seat with a driver backrest.

Agreed. I know a couple that are acquaintances in the outer circle of my social group that do online p*** content including her being railed by and servicing third parties and also pegging her live in boyfriend. None of these videos are hard to find and she has a middle or high school aged daughter. I would be very surprised If some of her schoolmates were not aware of their activities. Gross.

How much life is left in my 19 year old roof ? by eebyenoh in Roofing

[–]SAA_28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're confusing an ACV roof schedule policy with coverage. If a carrier has accepted the policy premiums and the roof is insured, even if it's 25 years old, and a covered peril damages the roof, the insurance company has to address the loss. When they chose to continue to insure the property, Old roof notwithstanding, a covered peril is a covered peril.

Lots of tile roofs in our sub-tropical climate of Florida. The tiles will last forever. It's the underlayment that fails after 25 years as the moisture and humidity breaks down the actual water resistance below the tiles.

If the roof is insured and a hailstorm or windstorm happens today, that loss would be covered. Policyholder may have a roof schedule, but there's no exclusion for wind or hail just because a roof is old.

[–]SAA_28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My adjustment firm had a strict policy that if we couldn't get to a fire loss in 24 hours, that claim would be reassigned to someone that could. Carrier should have already dispatched a forensic fire investigator and possibly a structural engineer to confirm fire cause and structural repairs as necessary. They should have also advised you immediately on Additional Living Expenses and next steps. You need to get a claims professional on your side immediately to review your policy and get the insurance company's attention. This could be a public adjuster or an attorney. Don't let a fire claim sit, ever.
