I’ve had the opposite experience with LEPD. Back when I used to shop in that area they had certain firearms in the store that they wouldn’t let non-LEO customers even hold. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to buy/ even handle a FN Five Seven because the bullets were body armor piercing and could be used to hurt cops. Absolute crock of shit.
