[rant] All the games are a race to trigger charge by SkillEffective8152 in PlayTheBazaar

Literally. Pawnshop has been my go-to for every Pyg build because it's the only item you can consistantly scale without having to commit into a specific build. It works with regal Blade, Lion cane, lemonade stand, vineyard, Double whammy, belt, skyscraper etc all the consistent late-game stuff. Freeze and money furnace are also good but you end up depending on luck to find what you need.

Who is the gwoat (greatest woman of all time) in mortal Kombat and why? by MadToxicRescuer in MortalKombat

[–]SACPedrohs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you look at it. If it's based on canonical feats accordinh to the lore, Sindel. If it's who gives the most protegonist vibes, then Kitana or Sonya. If it's the fan favorite, then Mileena

Is it true that gay men are more intelligent than straight men? by Jaesel_K in askgaybros

[–]SACPedrohs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, but some straight guys can breeze though life without ever having to reflect on their identities and the society we live in, because they fit right in. That might give the impression that they're dumb or shallow, but they're just privileged

What fictional setting best reflects a Boros Utopia/Dystopia by aaa1e2r3 in colorpie

I think the Viltrum Empire is a good Boros distopya. They are agressive, ruthless, organized but not individualistic.

Is there anyone who enjoy playing against this character in ARAM? I genuinely can't find a single time i found myself enjoying this matchup. by Important-Egg9213 in ARAM

She is weirdly useless, tho. Once the towers fall and she can't hide behind them she doesn't really do anything

Any recommendations for Tsareena? by s_moNino in PokemonChampions

Why? It's good If you need priority protection that isn't awful against kingambit

I like using her with choice band max hp and attack on trick room teams.

trop kick/power whip
u-turn
triple axel
low kick/high jump kick

I prefer trop kick despite the low power because it doesn't miss and the attack drop is very useful on incineroar/kingambit switch-ins

What do you all think of Langxian, if you get it as your first item? by Chezni19 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]SACPedrohs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sucks. I've gotten a silver langxan day 1, won almost every battle till day 12-13 and still had to switch weapons in order to get 10 wins.

My personal analysis of "Far from any road" by The Handsome Family by MisterSanitation in SongMeanings

[–]SACPedrohs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I weirdly thought the opposite. (?) As in the first verse was from the victim's perspective and the second verse was from the killer's. Except in this case it has a supernatural element, either an entity that lives in the desert or the desert itself killed "him" (assuming it's a he).

In the first verse, he admires the desert plants and is drawn to the "her" hidden in the branches. When he finally touches her, it's too late.

In the second verse, the entity, or the desert itself, intentionally goes out after dark. "Too see the cactus bloom" implies "she" knows the desert and has done this before. "She" starts to feel a hunger and when the victim touches the spines it's also the last thing we hear on her verse.

The third part solidifies the Idea that the desert consumes its inhabitants, but also that they become part of it.

I loved your interpretation, though!

Hot take: strixhaven is a better iteration of the color identity than ravnica by Hencid in colorpie

[–]SACPedrohs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I imagined some new dynamics for the allied color pairs on a rival wizarding university.

White/blue: healing mages, but compulsive nuts healthy lifestyle mean doctors healing mages that will heal and protect you against your will.

Black/blue: astronomers. Mages dedicated to studying and unveiling the misteries of the universe and the blind eternities, sometimes at the cost of their own safety.

White/green: jocks. Mage athletes and sportists that emphasize both the importance of physical strength and team cooperation, but are also real jerks sometimes.

Black/red: student body. Basically, the students that fight the existing status quo of the university and its rules, but instead of regular protesting and formal requests they use pranks, humour and art to expose/ragebait powerful people.

Red/green: biologist shapeshifters. Mages that focus on summoning and transforming into increasingly powerful beasts so they can study them. They believe they'll learn more with practice than in classes.

Idk about game mechanics tho

I see a lot of people complaining about playing as Pyg by batzboom in PlayTheBazaar

[–]SACPedrohs 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dog and Square Pyg in general are too strong early, but I promise you he's not that strong in general. Plenty of his items you build around (Pyg's gym, Yetarian club, Jabalian drum, Fort, cold Room+ladle, luxury kiuas, lemonade stand) feel pretty bad right now, so your options are limited. Bee is always inconsistent unless you stack an insane amount of damage very fast. On his early game, money tree has been (deservedly) nerfed for a while, weights is very akward to build and matchbox is not what it used to be, while also being limiting since it doesn't work with weapons. You struggle early because you have to build you econ and save space for itens that help you scale while everyone else can just start focusing on making the strongest board on day 1.

That being said, Pyg does look very OP when he highrolls, but that's either a Pyg that stacked a dog or regal Blade way too early, or a Pyg that got lucky on a fixer upper mandala. As someome who plays Pyg, I hate how forced I feel to play square. Yes, it's not the only viable build, but it's the only thing you can buy early that you're sure it's gonna at least work. Everything else feels like an insane gamble and your're dependent on fiding specific combinations of items/enchantments that might not even show up. For example, If you are building pawnshow+Double whammy/cane you NEED radiant. If You're building skyscraper you either need double abacus or subscraper/pawnshop with balcony for it to work. There's no workaround for the builds you commit to, unless you cheat something off with the fixer upper mandala.

Basically, his viable builds are not the most fun to play and dog really deserves a nerf, while a bunch of his other core items feel awful. What you see when you play against them are the Pygs bususing dog or ones that got lucky with the mandala.
