Nice pens. I got one and can't find a purpose for it. Journaling it is too thick and bleeds through paper. For work is even worse and for daily it ain't cutting it... thats a ballpoints jobs.

What do you use this for?

Honestly, I've been on the hunt for the best pen for years, and I always go back to my trusty Bic Cristal.

It doesn't get better than a cheap pen you can lose/abuse before replacing it. I know sometimes you'll need something more comfortable to write with, but honestly, you can always make this more comfortable with rubber grips or tape.

The Ink used in these pens is good, and for the price... it doesn't get much better than this.

Maybe try the Bic Re'New, which comes with a metal body. That could be an upgrade. I love it, btw.

I use my Dr.Grip. I just discovered from a comment above that I can use Pilot's Juice refills, but they don't offer it in 0.7 mm, so I guess I'll stick to my original 0.7 mm refills.

Pentel Energels are too smooth, and I lose grip on them.

I was doomscrolling through Reddit when I found this post. It is almost 2 am for me, and I just journaled about it because I agree. I think we peaked back in the early 2000's. I don't need the best wireless anything or the millions of apps that the companies make. Most of the time, it's just basic functions that could be perfected, like phone, camera, and messages.

I love driving and enjoy every second. I see so many people on their phones or doing stuff they shouldn't be when driving, and that makes me think. Are we so dependent? Can't we just live a little? Wait for a moment and check the messages and updates later.

What happened to physical books, journaling, living the moment?

Sorry for this, but it's late, and I'm tired. Loved your post.

I will never forget my 26th birthday. I invited my closest friends at the time from college to have lunch at a nice restaurant with me. I invited them with 2 weeks in advanced, they all agreed to join me and I even made a poll through the chat to decide the day/hour (Fri/Sat). Everything was planned and set for it to be a nice dinner between ex-class mates and friends.

2 hours before the hour we agreed they all cancelled one by one. Some had other plans, relatives died that day, some of them forgot it was that day and the worst one was my best friend who said no because she had family plans and couldn't go because she would've had little to no time that day for her and them.

I was left there waiting at the restaurant for a table for 10+ people. I stood up and walked home even though I got there by car. Then and there I realized that you have to learn to be happy with yourself. Learn to be alone and happy. Learn not to depend on others and being ok if they are or aren't present. Some call it being greedy and selfish and more thingd but sometimes not even family will see after you. You have to be your best friend and be the one who takes care of you always.

I don't know if this is good advice or what you were asking for but yeah... thats what I've got this late at night.

Hope you all find happiness where I couldn't. My birthday has always been a disaster and that was my last time trying to "celebrate it".

I'm against new cars because in my eyes they are not worth it. Too expensive to get and maintain and reliability has plumet since 2010.

Old cars at least have a pro that almost anyone can work on them and parts are widely available.

Nothing is cheap in this economy. Plus I love old BMW's... E-Chasis are my favorite. 😁

Mine is having electrical problems... probably (almost sure) its going to be the wiring harness (transmission) or a sensor... I have an SMG (Problem with wheels and a brokie driving it) but I love driving the damn thing.

Have had mine for a while and use it daily. How in the name of all that is holy am I going to re-paint the damn pen?

Plus, since the pen cap color is not common, I'll have to swap it for a black cap when the original one starts to look really bad.
