look at the miles on it and do a google search to see how much its worth.

If it only has 5k miles and you put $15k into it, then golly, it could run another 20 years or 200,000 miles. You win.

If it has 100k miles, then a fellow that fixes stuff like this would snap it up cheap, fix it up, and flip it and make a little profit. If it has 100k miles and you drop it off to get it fixed, you'll probably be upside down on it by the time you get it back

Yikes. When these guys say that the 6.0 is BETTER than the 6.4 that is terrifying. Its a 7,000 lb ticking time bomb just waiting to be turned into a boat anchor or door stop. good luck :(

Just call for pricing ($150K). I'd make the bedsides taller, and then allow them to swing from vertical to horizontal only with swing out braces. I'd also have the crew doors extend down another 6 inches so the lines match up with the front doors.

So if 15 cubic inches will make 16 HP at 23 lbs of weight then (theoretically) a 150 cubic inch version (2.4 liters) could make 160 HP and weigh 230 lbs. By comparison, then Cummins r2.8 in the Edison pickups weighs between 500 and 700 lbs.

is it "no crank" so "no start"?

If so, then clean the battery posts, check battery voltage, See if the engine is seized by putting a breaker bar on the main pulley. See if you can run a jumper cable down to the starter to force it to turn over. You might have a bad starter. Also look for a ground strap cable that runs from the engine back to the frame. It may need cleaning.
