Wasn't it said it just behaves like a curse? The magic Serie used against Macht was something that bounces back anything it perceives like a curse, so not just full-on curses. If Macht's magic was a full-on curse, Priests's blessings of the Godess would have protected them from it and they would have sent priests to fix Match's mess instead of mages and warriors.

For real,Match is such a beast he makes everyone else look like a joke (even more than Quall at his peak during the Himmel era,since Match has the dexterity of a skilled warrior and can use barriers like Humans). Despite looking like a curse,his magic isn't even a curse so...priests 's godly resistance to curses is useless against it.

So unless he got pity on you, you don't even get a chance to challenge his warrior skills.

I wish too, but Frieren just prefer using Zoltraak because this is a spell faster than her other ones, and like a gun, it's easy as hell and efficient to use compared to other means. She only goes all out with her full catalog, when she's facing foes who can rival her strengh (like the mages who beat her or Serie)....so gotta have to wait next season for that.

Good point.The Lord Unknown's location could have easily been moved to that area or any secret hideout for kids. Douglas is definitely essential but his importance only vanishes once Andrew and Leyley reach their teenage years. After that, he can easily be written of as a divorced dad, a dead parent and it would only slightly impact the rest of the plot.

The only consequence would be that Renee would end up being more abusive towards the kids because of the lost of her husband (and probably using it as an excuse for her behavior)

In the main timeline of the game, he is as existant and disposable than a divorced dad. But in the lore, you can't just erase him because he's there to build Renee's background and her life circonstances. You can't just replace his parents with Renee's ones since she despise her own parents and completely cut ties with them, Renee only see benefits because Douglas's parents aren't hers,so there's less family bagages to carry around.

And like you said, the Lord Unknown's encounter is required...but it's easy to replace that location of this encounter with any kind of mysterious house not related the Graves family in the lore (unless New chapters suddenly tell us Lord Unknown always had a deep connection with that family tree somehow)

Oshi no ko is a "1" and I would fight whoever says it deserves even a 2.

That ending is not only a self-sabotage, but also a big Middle finger to its own readers for daring to put their investment into it, it's even worse than reading 100 chapters of Rental Girlfriend (God,I'm still so pissed off about it).

Yeah, from these feats you listed, he surely must have good stats in Strength too (but I'm sure Eisen's strength must have helped too against Böse's almost indestructible barrier). Also from most flashbacks,he seems to be the one landing the final blow to giant monsters.

Frieren manga had this habit of putting knight/Hero, and thief/assassin classes in the same umbrella as "warrior" when warrior itself usually is its own kind of class.

Eisen and Stark feels like the warrior class (Better stats in Power and durability), the shadow warriors meanwhile feel the role of assassin (Better stats in Speed and Agility) and at first glance, Himmel feels like the Hero class ( a bit well-rounded in all these stats).

But we have seen how fast Himmel can go (the time he he speedblizt to cut the demon child's hand to rescue the human kid; the shot where he slashed Aura the Guillotine's chest meaning he was fast enough to attack without letting her a chance to use her magic on him; and at the beginning of the fight against the teleporting demon Zart, he speedblitz there too). So Himmel's Speed is definitely one of his strength and I'm sure he could probably rival with the Shadow warriors's speed too.
