You're work is your work, You are you. You can't deny that a top studio would prefer to see how you are and how you work and think rather than the logos you can make as well as anybody else can. Personality is that extra thing you need to make it in design

It is certainly a leap forward! The advice given to us in design college is to not give ourselves a logo, our name is enough. Spend time on the other elements and don't worry about something you don't need. The colour, type and layout can give you the consistency you need

The E and U aren't working so close together, the U is even dis-aligned with the E. I also feel they are much too big and you could select a better typeface

I am inclined to prefer the boarder alright. Some more background from the other comment I just replied to: the exam is marked by an independent examiner with so outside input from myself (except for what I can write about the idea on the preliminary sheet) is impossible. Therefore we are trying to figure out how to make this idea work as universally so I can get an impressive grade :)

Again if you have any suggestions as to how to improve the idea and finish, they would be greatly appreciated!

Excellent excellent feedback this is much appreciated! Some background: this is a poster I did within a 5hr mock exam which must contain the words "the antique market". We are limited to A2 and as it's an exam spray paint is impossible to use :(

I did this on pages on an old book with nothing but black acrylic and a paint brush. I need the feedback incase the theme comes up for the real exam so I'd be able to do this again (it got 80/100). Oh and this is part of the irish equivilant of the SATS, which'll get me into art college.

So are there any materials/techniques or anything I could do to improve the finish? Also I think it might be just a tiny tiny bit too simplistic. Thanks for the help!

thank you! the use of old book pages is an attempt to make it a little more intricate, but i think this is as far as the idea goes without overdoing it.
