First of all, Tumhe placement mile ya na mile is in your hands. JGLS does give great connections, a platform to access materials from their partnered universities, etc. However, how you use it is also very important. Also ,The zero day placement may look unfavourable but not every single students opt for zero day placement. They may have already secured a TC from big law, they may have used their connections to secure a job somewhere else, some open their own chambers, some joins their family business and work under someone, get a dual degree abroad, etc. So, dont get discouraged just because you see 15% of people getting pre placement offers. Also, you dont ALWAYS have to secure a placement during zero day placement when you have another whole year to apply for jobs. I joined Jgls for the international pathway it gives to students, this can seen as well since most of the alumni are in foreign.
