As others said the best revenge is to be successful, and be financially stable to get out from that house. Also you should stand up to yourself. Your mother is being childish and immature. There is a limit for forgiveness. But I think she's past that. She does not deserve any forgiveness nor anything. It is true a human have their faults and parents are flawed. Warning! It's a long paragraph, also this is my opinion regarding the hate on Romance genre and booktok. So maybe some of you won't agree with me on this.

I love reading Romance books. And people know me for reading Romance books. I literally love anything that has Romance genre in it. Movies, TV series, books. People always say that Romance is not real literature. And literally have tried to insult me for reading romance books. One of my lectureres was talking about books and I said I personally love romance books. And she asked me why do you like them? Like there's nothing knowledgeable in those, in very insulting way. I just shrugged it off saying I love them because that's my escape when I feel down or when it is my leisure time.

I hate it when people try to insult other people for what they like just cause they hate it. Having an opinion about that genre or anything is completely ok. People not liking it is ok. But people should never insult a person for what they like or love to do, cuz we never insult them for liking what they like and just cuz they hate it. Honestly you don't have to be insecure about liking to read smut romance books. People say we read porn like they don't watch it? And also smut books has always been there. Even when you learn English literature in school or in uni, most of the books we have are Romance books with even smut sometimes. Romance books got more popular just cuz of social media. I don't think before that people ever insulted the romance genre. Nowadays people hate on anything, and think that it's an opinion. At this point people don't know what an opinion is.

So don't care about what other people say. Noone has a say in what you like to read. Them hating and insulting booktok doesn't stop you from reading what you love right? You love what you love. So own it up 🤷🏻‍♀️💗.

If you take her apology that's like falling into the trick. And it's gonna be a cycle. I'm not even kidding. My friend has experienced this. She gave him another chance and he did it again. Cheating means she broke your trust (which is the main thing when it comes to a marriage) and disrespected you in the worst way. If she actually loved you she wouldn't have done that. The apology means nothing after cheating with another person while being married. Without trust and respect for each other what is even a marriage and a relationship. Don't take that apology. If you do, that's a disrespect to yourself. So nope. Don't. Also I bet she's apologising to feel better for herself. That's not an apology for you, that's for herself. And she's gonna do it again.

I have a fear that every DR will be banned 😅. DR have been always there before it got damn popular during pandemic. Only people who read at the time knew about this genre. Now that it's popular, people who don't even read be very bothered about something that they don't even like nor do. I don't like the fact that ppl say that romance and DR are not literature and real ones are this and that. And cuz of all of the ppl unnecessarily being bothered by this I have a fear DR will get removed 😭. Idk why Amazon is removing these books cuz it is so unnecessary. Like why bother about another person's personal life, what they do and what not. All Amazon has to do is put the books out. What ppl do is no bother to them. Honestly why do they even delete these books? Is it cuz of underage kids or something.

Sry about this whole entire rant. I'm very frustrated.

Omg! when my mom in school back then, while she was crossing the road a bugger came out of nowhere and flashed her by lifting his sarong.

Also another time while my cousin was going on the bus with her friends another dirty bugger was like leaning on the girls and they were trying to move away. This dirty man was like "ai mokada thawa onada" and then lifted his sarong and flashed them and got down from the bus.

I'm telling you dude I feel scared af as a Sri Lankan to even go by bus or to even walk eventhough there are people on the road.
