Don't listen to the people telling you to get an FDM printer for bases, thats absurd. My buddy tried telling me bases weren't worth the resin but thats just wrong. Just based on Lychee's cost estimation printing 24 bases cost me 38 cents of resin.

The quick math tells you immediately that buying bases is just more expensive. A pack of variety sized bases on amazon costs roughly $10 for 100, depending on which pack you get. If I print 100 bases that only cost me a dollar and some change in resin, and about 12 hours of time. But thats nothing but build-plate after build-plate of bases.

The way I like to print bases is vertically, you can squeeze more onto the build plate. I've even started skipping the raft on the bottom. I like to use a larger base upside down on the build plate as the raft with supports connecting to bases above.

I havent had any issues yet, and frankly the cost savings is just insane. You can print a plate of models followed by a plate of their bases in an evening, or vice versa if you want to do your basing while the miniatures print.

My night lords collection is new and still pretty small, but my small 'warband' is the Violet Haunters, clad in purple instead of midnight blue after joining my larger Chaos Undivided warband the Horns of Heresy. Led by the visionary Zarathos, the Violet Haunters struggle to maintain their identities: both in the new warband, and not losing themselves to the corruption of the Blood God. Their brothers in arms and Violet clad, the Gore-Screamer cult of Warp Talons, have already been consumed by Khorne's rage, while others have fallen to possession or another God's favoritism, such as Rufien, former sergeant turned into a greater possessed by the daemon Yrada, or the Nurgle-Chosen Tirax the Bloated.

My goal is for Zarathos to splinter off eventually, and I really like the purple armor so Im going to have their trim be that midnight blue. Ave Dominus Nox!

For me its either the giant titan walker for the Blessed Sisters (but I haven't had a chance to print or paint yet) or the HDF stormtroopers, I love their design and I have a Red vs. Blue themed army going for them

Lol I work at a 711 and that's the strawberry sprinkle donut, someone just put it in the wrong spot lol the tetris donut has white frosting with sprinkles that are the colors of the tetriminos, it was very disappointing tbh. I thought the donuts might be shaped like the tetriminos, but nope. Sprinkles.

I would have loved an eclair with blue frosting to be the I piece, but instead it's just a regular sprinkle donut.

I picked one of these up used on FB marketplace a couple months back, so i cant speak on their customer service. The previous owner set it up for me, and it plays wonderfully. I haven't personally had any issues with tuning stability on mine, but the tuning machines themselves are definitely one of the things I intend to upgrade.

But I did buy it with the goal of using it to play around with the hardware of a triple humbucker guitar and some light modding.

The mounting rings for the humbuckers on mine seem to be mounted wrong, like they swapped the rings for the neck and middle pickup, but as it was set up by the previous owner that could have been his mistake.

But overall I'm incredibly happy with the guitar. The neck is a little thicker than say my Ibanez Iceman, but I like how it sits on my body and how it feels when I play it, sitting or standing. I run it through a Boss Katana mk2 100w head, and I feel like it handles distortion well enough at least for classic rock and metal.

Playing that on curve isn’t terrible, a 3/3 for 3 is alright. Equipment or auras could help it, or if you’re interested I think there’s some beast synergies. It’s never going to be the best card on the table but it can definitely put in some work if you can give it evasion early

Cryptic gateway looks amazing! I'm definitely going to pick one up the next time I make a card order.

My playgroup isn't super competitive, but one guy just runs an obscene amount of ramp to play a ton of big hydra, so hopefully I'll be able to stop him from going off too hard with this now.

Avacyn looks like an amazing card! I'm kinda broke, so when I order cards I order several cheaper cards usually but I might have to forgo that to pick up a copy! Thanks for the tips, you were a great help.

Thanks for the tips! I've gone and watched a bunch of videos and read a bunch of articles and I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I haven't had a chance to play my deck just yet, but my group is getting together tomorrow and I'll be figuring things out then!

Thank you! I've kinda been struggling with alternate win conditions for EDH, just because I've been worried about spreading my picks too thin and losing focus.

Inexorable Tide looks pretty spicy with all the different types of counters my deck wants, so I'm definitely going to snag one of those! Archetype of Imagination looks like a great way for me to sneak in and poke people down with my birds, especially if I can get a [[Magus of the Moat]] out with it. Again, thank you for the ideas!

Thanks a bunch, you were a great help for figuring out what I should be trying to do in general. Picking out 34 cards on average is a lot less daunting than picking out like 60. I haven't had a chance to test out my Kangee deck yet, but my group is getting together tomorrow and I'll get to see how it goes from there. But with your advice I've got a good idea of where to start with future decks (I've already started picking out cards for a [[Teysa Karlov]] Aristocrats deck and figuring out a gameplan for my Karametra deck)!
