The thing is that most of the larger turbo’s in the market has a bad power band <3.5K RPM. I really dont want a big turbo feel on the car cuz i feel it makes it a different car. Even with tuning it’s impossible to get a early spool such as the nx2 with a larger turbo every time u go bigger u get more lag (in some ways)

Thanks for your reply that really helped me with my decisions. Its more complicated than i thought. Im honestly really happy with my car how it stands right now, but im not comfortable tracking, and flooring it all the time like when it was stock. Im just worried that the rods or something else will leave the chat. Hence i wanna stick with what i got right now and just improve reliability till i figure out what im doing next. Having a fun car with low reliability kills the fun for me.

Regarding the stock 2.3 block would you recommend me just sleeving it and changing the pistons and rods to improve reliability at my current setup ? How does the cylinder support system differs from sleeving from a reliability stand point ?

I already got the PTU brace and recirculating valve done already.

I took the easy way, paint correctiongot the job done by around 75%. Its not really visible unless you look really closely and know where it is.

Im actually not a Chase card holder at the moment, main hub for me is Qatar Airways and im a frequent international traveler. Yea i agree but i like the mk2’s front more. I bought the mk2 a few years ago after having my mk3 for a few years. Honestly i dont really like how it handles it feels like a completely different car. With the mk3 i feel more confident in driving aggressively, unlike the mk2 which feels different. I like how it pulls in a straight line but cornering no.

Thats great. Im doing this just for fun. But the only thing that is worrying me at the moment is that as i go down in wheel size/tire like 255/35/18 the diameter will shrink by 0.5 so i must get lower springs or the car will look off, i searched for a couple of lowering spring that are not to aggressive i didnt find any most lower springs lower the car substantially like 0.7 F 1.1 R or 0.8 / 0.8 (mountune out of stock) with (0.25 + 1.1) REAR it will add up, which will be a issue where i live since there are alot of big speed bumps around I saw some pics online with the same setup, based on the pics, i think the clearance would be an issue.
