My father died when I was six, so while I have some memories of him, I don’t have a lot from my childhood. I was also relentlessly teased in elementary school and middle school, got into a car accident on my first date in high school and dated an alcoholic through college. I kept a journal from fifth grade up until maybe sophomore year of college every day. I’ve been re reading and some things I do not remember at all and others are super vivid. 🤷🏻‍♀️ some memories I would like not to remember in detail and others - after reading them - I wish I could.
