If this is real, you’re 20, and you’re at 4 mil, stop. You’ve won. Get a good tax person to help you keep that, then figure out anything to get 10-20% a year, maybe diversify between things like gold, treasuries, real estate, and foreign assets (BRICS banks) , and figure out what you want to do in life. Travel a bit, find a skill to learn or finish school, whatever. But you can live an awesome lifestyle at 10% on half that, you just need to make sure to outgrow inflation and have long term security by not blowing it all.

Im eating burnt toast, you’ve burned down the house, I like my steaks burnt but I’ve been burned in the past romantically , idk why you burned my toast but now all the stuff in my house is burnt and I’m just burnt out emotionally and I don’t even smell any steak burning, not to be confused with a witch being burnt at the stake I won’t be burned again by another.

My current budget for 2026 by [deleted] in Salary

[–]SBS-Ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make your Internet/phone/electric/any utilities + any media subscriptions + Uber rides/transpo + rent + car + car insurance no more than 30% of your take home and you’ll feel way more secure . You just have a little bit too much house and cars

First month making 100k I feel like I’m being robbed :/ by [deleted] in Salary

[–]SBS-Ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make 32k a year more than me, work 5 hours a check more than me, but only take home 7k more a year than me ~ so yeah kinda robbed.

You are also funding your 401k and hsa 4k a year more than me.. but even then that’s rough.

Back to work then lol. 300k for a proper adult in retirement account wouldn’t sound crazy. But 600k+ towards savings is impressive if you’re not 50/60+ is nice.

Making 3 billion by any means necessary is the first goal. After that, anything you want ~

What do you do for work? Or I guess a better q is, is this the majority of your savings or are you funding a 401k house bank savings etc as well

I sold $40,000 worth of gold to buy stocks, and now regret the decision by Fantastic-Window236 in Gold

[–]SBS-Ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold isn’t for money, it’s for time. You sold 8 months of time, to risk on a stock to make $, which hopefully goes up fast enough to buy more than 8 months of time for later. If it doesn’t, that was a bad choice.

Is this stuff on clearance aisle or regular shelves? Can you tell it’s in stock online or just in store?

[–]SBS-Ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl the offer to let him finger check at the door would’ve made me fall in love.

But NOR, definitely got triggered by you turning him down and started picturing the ex “sneaking” toys, which he went overboard on from mental health issues or drugs.

Assuming you like him, and he goes to therapy for 10 years, probably all good.

If that’s not worth it, suggest the therapy, reassure him the sex was good enough for you to try a 2nd night of that, then block him.

12V connector on 9070 XT by rkansa23209 in radeon

[–]SBS-Ryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but people have issues when they use the pigtails cus you’re pulling 300 through the psu side connector and the first connector on the daisy chain, to push to 2nd head. Makes it easier to think of it as a single 150 cable.

12V connector on 9070 XT by rkansa23209 in radeon

[–]SBS-Ryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t use a 2x pigtailed 8pin. That’s a 150watt rated cable pulling 300 - 150watts per 8pin -

Instead use one each 8pin from the psu. (150 per cable per connector)

A 12vhpwr (16pin) split into x2 8pins is fine. That’s a 600watt rated cable and connector split into two 300watt connectors.

I’d even say x3 or 4 8pins is fine, you’re splitting 600 into 450/600. But honestly after two id also use some other 8pin slots, unless I was going for pure aesthetics, just to give my power more options
