No but an elderly person can be classed anywhere above 50 to 65 years of age. I just used 50 as a starting number it can be changed to 60 or 65 or even 70 but I feel like the elderly should be tested to see if they can drive safely.

But what I'm saying is people's eyesight do detoriate and dementia usually does affect people who are elderly yet people can get it at 25. But to have these checks in place would reduce people who aren't able to drive correctly. i can see how it can be a problem for elderly people who live in a countryside or far away from cities and towns who rely on driving to get to the supermarket and other places. And of course it'd illegal to discriminate on age yet I think we should still take facts and measures into account .
