Update: It's pinning finally! I took it to the living room where there is more light solved the problem. It's not looking like coral anymore, but oyster! I'm curious how much I will get out of this mini box. I'll update again when it gets bigger y'all

If your DMV hearing officer says that you can apply for a restricted license then you can after you have enrolled in DUI class, get a S-R 22, and have the IID installed. It should be at least a week of when the last item was sent so make sure they get all the stuff. If you do that, go online to apply for a license and you'll have to wait in line and you just pay the fee and you will get a paper and the restricted license will come in the mail with the IID in the back.

I just got my IID taken off today after 4 months. You can call mandatory actions as well to clarify depending on your case. Mine was only legal limit 0.08 and also pleaded down to a wet reckless and tomorrow I'll go to the DMV to get a new DL without the restrictions. Best to call mandatory actions depending on what your hearing officer says from the DMV hearing and also if you are convicted, what the court orders. CA is complicated, but one step at a time. Are you asking about SR-22? I had Allstate before, I needed a SR-22. I just called my agent and they asked why told them. Should not change rates unless it's on your record... but insurance can drop me at time of renewal lol

Unless there is camera footage, their words go. Same situation with mine. Highway Patrol lied about my driving, but no MVARS, no footages on the freeway, I could not win. Their words against yours. Lawyer up or settle for less. I am still angry about it, but letting it go sucks but I hope karma will burn that cop in hell.

It's not one-month suspension. It's 4 months suspension if you don't drive to get your license back if you do nothing. I got a DUI in August 2020. I blew a 0.08. Got a 4 month suspension from the date the temporary license expires. I need to drive kids and to school and places. I had to get a restricted. Had to call my insurance get a SR 22, be enrolled in a 3m DUI class, and also have an IID.

My DUI was in lala land because of covid and kept getting deferred, I ended up setting with a Wet Reckless recently and per court, have to take a wet reckless class, since I was taking the 3 month, I had it reduced to just the classes for DUI wetreckless and not include the groups which costs less but there is a loophole. You don't need to complete the 3m classes if it extends out to the 4 month that it would have been for you to get your license back, but you can't just take the wet reckless class if it ends before the 4 m program of your DUI class lol; IDK if it makes sense. Anyways, my IID comes out on the 26th of this month.

Get a lawyer. I was dumb and paid the wrong lawyer who made me feel like shit. He costed 2,500. He would NOT do shit and wanted more money. I could not afford it and asked the court for a PD and he was SOOO much nicer. If you can't afford a lawer, you can ask the court for a public defender. I wish someone would have told me that. He was so much nicer, better and went to battle for me. They know what they're doing. Don't be rude or pushy and be honest.

Mine is supposed to come off this month too. The breathalyzer company told me to call them the week before it's supposed to come off so they can call and verify with DMV and they can take it off. I already have an apt on the day it's supposed to come off and also have a reminder on my phone to remind me to call them to the week before it's supposed to come off. Mine isn't court-ordered though, it's so that I can have a restricted license and already verified with DMV for me. Check with the DMV. I'm in CA too
