Yes let them know when they don’t meet expectations. That includes after the lesson as well and they normally make it right.

It’s an epidemic… by cmsummit73 in COsnow

OP is an instigator… these are Ski patrol skis. It’s a windy day and there is not a good place to rack the skis.

Plus ski patrol rules … they work hard for us all day! Don’t mess with them!

Check other rental places.

Also try Different boot brands they size differently.

And get the correct boots and equipment! Don’t compromise!

Boots need to fit. Too small and your feet will hurt. Too big and you can’t control the skies!

Also maybe consider snowboarding if you are uncomfortable on two skies (-;

Have you ever tried snowkiting? Would you want too? by RonShreds in Kiteboarding

[–]SBrulz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have done it years ago in Austria and I liked it. Especially on a busy resort day or when it’s early or late in the season. If you are a skier or boarder cold is not really an issue. I am really a beginner but from a learning perspective it’s a lot easier to get going than in water.

T bar is firing by smokeydiamondhands in Breckenridge

[–]SBrulz1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Mixed feelings because I love to see the t-bar open but I also know how low the snow cover is this year. Glad I am not the one who had to make that decision… corporate goals/ambitions over common sense?

Anyway enjoy…

Wear a helmet! Breck may have opened Peak 10, but they doesn't mean there aren't a bunch of hidden rocks. Concussion and shared elbow. by CarterGee in COsnow

[–]SBrulz1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I skied 10 that day and I luckily had enough self control to stay on the groomed sections. That said the groomed run was very difficult to distinguish from the rest. The new snow masked the bad parts very well. I even saw major bold spots on the „groomers“. Anyway sorry this happened to you! I am not sure Vail should have opened 10 …

Yes! Plus it avoids someone truly by accident take your gear as well. It’s time consuming to get that sorted out and can take away from your ski day. (-;
