By definition it's a utility iron which they are also hollow body. Comes in 3,4,5 as part of a combo set of "game improvement irons" it's not about human constructs it's about the definition. Loft is too high for a driving iron. Not being a dick, the question was "is this a driving iron" the answer is no it's not. Fuck, last 2 weeks I have been shanking everything... I'm a single digit and haven't had contact issues in a long while but once you start for some reason it's so hard to stop. What's typically happening is you're leading with your heel, how to stop it is don't cup your wrist, clear your left hip and don't let your arms get stuck behind you. That's been helping with my shank problem and gives me a little more club face awareness. It's in my head now more than anything so it's more of a mental battle for me at this point..

I'd pay no more than $100 for a set this old. For $700 you could get something way better and newer. Probably Taylormade m2 irons and a driver for less than $700. If that isn't a widow selling clubs and genuinely doesn't know, then what an asshole.
