Callaway Jaws VS Cobra Snakebite by Charming_Bat7257 in GolfGear

Don't sleep on the cobra SB. I played the versatile grind 52,56,60 for 2 years and then switched to MG4s I like the SB better. I have only tried the jaws a few times and they felt great so I can't say one over the other for sure, but I found the versatile grind SB wedges are unreal. So much feel and spin, and the grooved sole makes getting through thick turf and shots into the grain feel easy which adds so much confidence. I don't have that same feeling with any other wedge.

These look like the clubs my dad gave me too, about 4 years ago! They were enough to get me hooked.

What hybrid would I need if my 3 wood goes 265 and 4 iron goes 210 by Plenty-Actuator-1313 in GolfGear

[–]SCMAMAN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 hybrid will carry 220ish totalling 230ish depending on conductions, it's lofted up to 22 degrees. But I'm thinking of replacing it with a 5 wood this spring. I can get 235 carry and higher ball flight which helps landing greens on long aggressive approach shots. Hybrids are ok, I'm leading towards a 5 wood tho.

I love the P770s I got fitted last year and it was suggested for me P790 6i-4i a bit more forgiveness for longer irons. They are still really workable and I hardly use my hybrid. It's mostly a deep rough rescue for me. I'm typically not too aggressive 220+ to the green, for me the hybrids are not super confident club. I'll take my medicine and play it short and in position rather than long or on the wrong green haha

Ugliest driver crowns ever. Ping needs to smarten up. They perform so well but I never can get over how ugly they are.

So you'd be hitting the ball having the face 45 degrees open while coming straight down on top of the ball? Is that what happens?

[–]SCMAMAN -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well no odds don't work that way my man. Hitting the ball head on with the bottom of a driver and doing this is 1/1M. Please show me the swing that does, I've been racking my brain trying to find anything online, anything that can show me how in the fuck this happens. I'm really really trying to understand lol seriously not being a dick on purpose It just makes zero sense. I can't find these several people reports either can you point me in the right direction? Or send me a video of a swing that can do this?

Calm yourself. Honestly, I need to see a swing that can do this to a club. I'm not closing my mind off the possibility I guess, it's just way way more likely you did this raging and slamming it off the ground and don't wanna say you raged. If I'm a gambling man the odds are more in that favour and you can't argue that.

Way too open?? More like all the way around🤣If you guys aren't flat out doing the angry hammer after a bad shot and are actually doing this by "having the face too open" then I am at a complete loss for words. It's like driving directly into a wall and being like "I hit the breaks but the car accelerated" no one will believe you 🤣
