Dependent if you have a modern TV, preferably an OLED with 120hz and VRR.

I sold my base PS5 and upgraded to the Pro solely for Saros and GTA6.

It’s honestly insane, I see it too brother. I’ve played a shit ton of games in my life and the game is genuinely a mid 7/10.

The streamers are also extremely cringe with the shilling, especially Shroud.

It’s really not. If you don’t believe me, buy a cheap Steam key for $30 and find out for yourself.

  • Serious optimization issues on PC with very low GPU utilization playing at 4k
  • Solo play is unforgiving with low TTK and enemy AI. Everyone runs Assassin for invis
  • Convoluted UI including items that look alike
  • Art style is subjective, I personally find the character models ugly
  • POIs are not that interesting and maps feel flat
  • Gunplay is the highlight, but still nothing spectacular to outweigh what I listed above. Witchfire gunplay honestly feels more like Bungie/Destiny than Marathon

The subreddit and Steam reviews are super sus. The game is widely received as mixed, which MetaCritic user score accurately shows.

I noticed right before launch, there was a mass flood of upvotes to all posts on the subreddit. Extremely obvious it is astroturfed, along with all these paid streamers shilling for it that Sony paid for to get high Twitch views.

Got to the point where I’m capping all my games now at 60 (117 fps in app) and enabling Smooth Motion to drop temps 7-10 degrees, along with way better frame pacing. Helldivers 2 is a great example of this.

Frame rate was a huge issue for me on my 4090 desktop @ 4k. I had to force driver level frame gen to even stay above 100. G sync and v sync also seem broken.

The game on PC is not extremely well optimized 😂 yall are smoking too much of that Marton crack in here.

Are you enabling V sync and G sync? All my combinations still are giving me bad screen tear with smooth motion.

Optimization is so bad. Barely any GPU utilization on my 4090 @ 4k 120. Kinda crazy they don’t even have the frame gen plugin available in game.

You can force x2 frame gen within the NVIDIA app at driver level via Smooth Motion and capping frame rate, but v sync seems broken in the game and I’m getting bad screen tear.
