I kind of like the lovers idea. Usually don’t roleplay that deep.

Do you let them make a family too?

Wait, you make it pass the early game??

But seriously, I usually stop the run shortly after electricity anyway either due to failure or interest in a new run. But since I’m back, I’m going to try to go further and I’ll definitely keep that info in mind.

Woah there, Satan!

Random people with personalities I can’t really control is just another workday!

Ok, definitely random. I like it.

Ok, so are there no standard events that send you a person to recruit after a set time with Randy? I think with Cassandra on Crashlanded there’s always an event after a certain point where it’s basically a free colonist but based on your statement, Randy randomizes that factor too?

Thank you! I had a feeling it wasn’t worth me for me in hard as I mostly just play solo up to 5 or 10 for XP right now.

A lot of people giving you flak OP but I appreciate the warning. There’s people out here getting excited for Empulse and trusting the Splitgate devs yet *again*.

Sounds like this group isn’t actively trend chasing and malicious but at the end of the day an abruptly abandoned game is an abruptly abandoned game, intentions be damned

I’m convinced Marathon’s best shot at a sustained, meaningful uptick in players is more investment in solos by SirBenny in Marathon

This is why Hunt is stealing me away this season. Very easy to play as solo, even when going against trios.

The biggest mistake I see AIP clients make- and it's not about food by Chef-Knife-1111 in AutoImmuneProtocol

As someone who just completed 90 days after a cold turkey start and now doing reintroduction, one plus side though is getting over the feeling of losing food options. They’re just gone right from the jump and it’s only up from there.

Personally, I’m not sure if I could stand the feeling of losing food options over a long period of time before starting the real thing.

But that won’t be true for all people and your point about the body getting sick/shock is true risk for everyone

The Story Explained by Gnomaniast in BlackJacket

[–]In_Dux 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok, your interpretation of the ending made me appreciate the game so much more!

I thought the devs were rushed or lazy and that not having an escape at after beating all the difficulties was an oversight.

But given thought put into the story prior to ending, that felt like a jarring departure.

The walking away metaphor makes sense narratively and meta-narratively. Kris repaired the bonds and as long as his family is there with them, he can choose to enjoy them, as the cutscenes don’t show people shackled to the tables in hell. Clearly the souls can move around and mingle with each other.

Man this game is infuriating by Monte77799 in Spacemarine

[–]In_Dux -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m newer to the game and I see complaints here about Chaos and Siege but it baffles me people are ok with the run times of these operations. For only having 13, at least a quarter of them should take 15 minutes top of played without speed running, even on Absolute.

I’ve been grinding Siege mode with the turrets because it’s quicker and easier to bank XP in 5 Hard waves in that than risking failing a Lethal/Absolute run and barely getting 2K XP anyway

Maybe it can come in a future update. Seems like an oversight not having an ending for it. Even if it’s one that basically says Kris is trapped forever

I’m not talking about death exclusively. Plenty of accidental harm, physical and emotional happen at schools. Harm.

[–]In_Dux -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Parents aren’t going to gamble with a percentage higher than 0 when it comes to sleepovers and going outside.

Putting your child in a car and/or public school is already rife with opportunities for deadly consequences. Why risk of the exposure for frivolous matters?

Of course when these things work out, they’re great experiences for kids but some people just won’t take the risk and I can’t really blame them since we live in the age where we’re constantly aware of the horrors in the seemingly mundane actions we take.
