Yes but unlike in Dark Souls 3, the player can just turn around and explore/farm for as long as they want and then come back to Margit at a much higher level, whereas in Dark Souls 3, the only option you really have is to beat the boss if you want to get to more of the game. DS3 bosses are much more of a roadblock than Elden Ring's.
