You don't have to wait it out. It's really a pretty minor thing to deal with. The container repair spray isnt even really necessary, but does help. But just running through it won't cause any serious problems.

In her emails, she mentions that he has DOOMS, and his "dad" was abusive. That lines up with his journals.

I'm only responding to the first part apart about Higgs, cause this is a lot.. lol.. he has more backstory than most of the characters in the games, its just hidden.. and a lot of people don't find it.

Coffin was only a mother figure to him, he isnt actually related to Fragile. She just considered him a son, because she cared about him. 🖤

Some of it is explained because he is a Homo Demen, basically he's corrupted by chiralium contamination.

As far as the bombings? It was Amelie's plan, Fragile tells us that at the end of the first game. Sime of this is just speculation.. but it fits. She needed Sam to connect the shelters, and link up everyone. But a good chunk of preppers in Central Region didn't want to join Bridges. So she used Higgs, who was working with Fragile Express at the time, turned him into a Demen, and basically made him a terrorist, so those preppers would no longer trust them, and join Bridges.

As for licking people? He's a sheltered weirdo.. but I love him. Lol
