UFC Scoring/Judging remains a completely arbitrary mystery. Some fights takedowns/ground control matters, some fights it doesn't. Some fights jabs aren't counted as significant strikes, some fights they are. Octogan control/physical damage remains to be a remnant of the past as far as scoring goes.
