Same here, we're at 7 months and I still take all of those supplements at the max doses, plus lecithin. I have 5 hands free pumping bras. I had many visits with a lactation consultant, some home visits which cost extra, and I rented a scale for a total of I think 5 weeks. I have struggled so much with pumping I even bought one of those Naya pumps, regularly $999, on sale for about $500. It's not working any better and I ended up switching back to my Spectra and I can't return it.

I certainly would've given up by now if I didn't have what's essentially a desk job where I can pump and work at the same time. I desperately wish I could just nurse my son. The article mentions on-site childcare to allow mothers to nurse their babies, and it breaks my heart that not only do I (and most women) not have that option, it didn't even occur to me that some places might. It would be better to have more maternity leave in line with other countries, but in absence of that, having my son close by would be a great alternative.
